also make sure in your oscam.user file that you have au = eagle_cardreader

you need to create a config file for oscam called oscam.srvid . This gets placed in the same folder as your oscam.user oscam.conf etc .
Here is a link for one already done for you just put the file into your config directory and restart oscam
oscam.srvid - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

1st was the original bin file for cccam in usr/local/bin ??
2nd are you stopping/starting from a cam script within ubuntu ?? If so then check the script for the cam name as you may have to update this accordingly to match your new filename . Alternatively rename your new cccam bin to match the filename of the old one.

you give someone n line like this
N: yourdns.no-ip.org 34000 username( you create this in oscam.user ) password( you create this in oscam.user ) 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
You must setup port forward for your newcamd port number
You must set up new user details in oscam.user like this
[account]
user = newuser
pwd = newuser
group = 1( whichever group your card is )
uniq = 0
au = 0
caid = 0500 ( your caid )
cccmaxhops = 2
try that

did you chmod 755 the script before running
whatever way is going to be labour intensive . If your a cowboy ( ye-ha ) then you will staple the cable all round the house . A neater solution is like ten said. good luck !!
