Hi, I have recently moved house and set up my motorised dish yesterday but I am missing some satellites that used to be available at the old property and was looking for some help to tune them. I have a technomate 2600 motor on a 80cm dish and am trying to tune VU+ Ultimo 4K box running OpenVix 5.4.016 and I’m in the north east uk. The satellites I can still get are Thor 0.8w, Hotbird 13.0e, 19.2e, and 28.2e and they all have a good signal but I am unable to scan Turksat 31.0e, 23.5e, 16.0e, 9.0e, and Hispasat 30.0w. I have tried using the normal scanning methods but the missing satellites don’t show up and for some reason Blind Scan on this image doesn’t do anything after I press Scan Channels. I was wondering if there was a way of manually scanning the satellites into my box. I have had USALS turned on and off but to be honest I have never really understood the procedure for that. Usals is off right now for every satellite and had it turned off when I tuned in the sats I’ve got. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi all , I have a VU+Ultimo 4K with Openvix 5.4.013 installed. My problem is I keep getting the spinner coming up randomly in the top left corner of my screen. I can be in the middle of watching a tv program and the spinner will appear for 10 seconds or so every so often. Also this tends to happen a lot when I am browsing through the epg, the spinner will appear and the box becomes unresponsive for say 20 seconds at a time and then again after a short period of time and so on. I thought it may be the epg cache full so I deleted that and tried switching between hdd and internal flash for epg location but it’s still the same after deleting. Anybody have any idea what may be causing this?
    Thanks

just to be clear the provider has given me several scripts but the only one that is relevant to my box which is VU+ Ultimo 4K is the oe25_arm
script which is the one I am trying to install on a fresh Openvix image but I keep getting the errors I have mentioned above.

I didn’t know if I was allowed to port the whole file from my provider please remove if I’m not.

Hi all, I am looking for some help in installing the xstream plugin supplied by my provider.
it’s not an ipk file it’s a string of Linux command to be run in terminal or ssh.
After running I get an error and the box is supposed to reboot and install the plug-in but doesn’t.

It looks like the file gets downloaded to the temp folder but nothing happens. The error I get is
-bash: dpkg: command not found, not sure if I can post the full command path in here..

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks
