  • ccam won't work

    Hi Guys
    I have just purchased a VU+ Solo 2 with Open vix installed. i can't get Ccam 2.3.0 to work. Ive installed in temp folder and ccam. config in etc folder but when i go into soft cam manager and try to connect ccam 2.3.0 from there i get the message No config files found, please setup ccam first in etc/ccam.cfg. What am i doing wrong , I am tearing the bit hair i have left out now. Thanks in advance

  • Problem With FTP CCcam.cfg VTI image

    Can someone help me ! I have a vu+duo with VTI image loaded and ccam2.21, but no matter what program I use FTP. VUCC .dreambox edit the ccam file does not show up , what am I missing , help before I tear out the little hair I have left. Cheers guys

    Thanks for the advice, sorry I didn't explain myself very well. I am here because I want to learn about this amazing hobby.
    I do have an active card but decided to take the plunge and learn about Linux and sattelites and to see what the world is watching.
    I bought a VU+ Duo after my *** box failed yet again just out of warranty and refused to pay the a £60 call out charge. So I've come to play with the big boys. Thanks Mate

    Can someone tell me how I can get a cline or who can give me one , sorry but I am totally new to all this and don't really know what I am doing yet. Reading as many tutorials as I can. Any pointers would be gratefully appreciated
