  • help trying to install autobouquets plugin on amiko alien 8900hd

    trying to load this on 8900 using hyprid back up image as it is not in plugins, shame brilliant image everything fast. this is what im doing
    ftp IPK into temp go to box menu setup/ software management install local extensions down to temp folder highlight extension which is enigma2-plugin-extensions-autobouquets-e2 press install


    says done installed, upgraded or removed 1 package (with no errors)
    reboot not in plugins
    what am I doing wrong loaded other IPK FILES AND WORKED this way

  • inserting c line in SPARK7111 HYBRID

    question normally use mgrand,with n line ........ need to insert cline in another box not sure where it goes does it go in var/keys/camdlist, also in softcam manager only have mgrand , mgrand 1.35 and oscam do I just start oscam or do I need to something else.......... using alien 8900 with SPARK7111 HYBRID great image normally use mgrand but my other box packed up that had a cline

    do you just copy this in telnet window then hit run


    cd /tmp && eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp backup.img /dev/mtd/3 && reboot

    Please check up, if the drive connected and not mounted.
    Is it mounted, run 'Unmount' first.

    Got a problem with a dreambox 500 the fight tonight is on *** box office when I go to channel 731 it just goes back to what ever channel it was last set at done a rescan same thing not used this box for ages anyone know how to manually change frequencies think they must of changed them

  • alien 8900 and motorized setup

    At present using e2 image on DM500 have a 80cm motorized dish fixed at 28.2 due to never getting it set up to move problem with box also got a alien 8900 which im going to connect to dish is it easy to set up to get dish to move to other sats


    in menu config mode what do I change to at present

    Reason want footy for next season on foriegn sats also is there a easy bouquet to install for various sats

    Hi using gm990 pkt 1873 on alien 8900 have done the following


    mgrand into var/emu
    mg file and newcamd list into var/keys
    started line with cws
    download in plugins mgrand 1.35 and in emu manager start rebooted


    anything else should do not working

  • Which Plugins do i need for E2 on SHD8900

    depending on which image but i use DCC do you use mgrand or cam get mgrand 1.35 you will find it here somewhere
    try this
    install the mgcamd file in var/emu and change attributes to 755


    mg_cfg and newcamd list go to var/keys


    add your line to newcamd.list,


    if you need cccamd.list make this in notepad and ftp into keys file


    then go to blue panel emu manager and select mgcamd and green button to start


    also do not forget to do online update in blue panel / Aktualization / Firmware

  • e 2 image bugs

    have tried several images some boot up some dont all have minor bugs which I except everyone seems to have there own preferences, I like satstation fast load up picture good but i have problem with cross epg when I load new version of it its fine for a while then slowly gets worse would it be better to do a factory reset before loading a new image

    using amiko alien 8900 and e2 image when I go to DCC HDD IS not mounted....... how do you mount it Im not sure....... my cross epg does not recognize my usb hdd in the configure menu only internal flash listed

  • formatting usb for cross epg

    Hi


    Have a problem with cross epg basically when I put usb into MINI PARTITION TOOL and format to ext3 primary it says finished ok then I take it out put in the back of box reboot go to menu setup cross epg press ok on configure it will not change to ext3 just internal flash there, if I there take it out reformat it to fat32 and put it back, go to configure in cross epg menu it will change to my kingston usb even using another stick always the same


    Any ideas

    Hi alien 890 shd running satstation e2 image cant seem to record says recorded in timer nothing there.


    Have EPG ALL SEEMS TO WORK EVERYTHING SEEMS OK using cooltv guide

    Should I change this



    All the recording pathes are set to hdd/movie
    except timeshift = media/ hdd


    It recognizes kingston usb in media player also when I press record on remote on screen message saiying In order to record a timer the tv was switched to recording mode


    Is this correct does anyone know a idiots guide to set this up

    Dont know why nothing seems to record go through everything cool tv works fine get message on screen tv has to be set to recording
    go into timer menu says recorded........ set all the recording path to HDD movie is this correct also in Harddisk its set to usb stick when I put stick in tv nothing there after a recording must be doing something wrong any ideas
    using a kingston stick format 32 ........using the new alien e2 firmware tuner config is fixed dish one feed tuner config is set to simple
    when i go to tuner config it says it says

    Glad he got it going my prob is everything was fine Im using amikio 8900 pkt nebulla image followed some instructions on here now got new image things seem different before I put mgrand into var/emu as instructed this time emu is not in var its in usr


    Mgrand 1.35 into usr/emu
    Config into usr/keys
    newcamdlist usr/keys............. also got config and newcamd in var/keys as well as replace and list priority list also what should the attrubutes be do different images have different ways of where things go


    Should I delete some of the keys in var and usr

    Hi guys


    Now Ive got a problem with mgrand after me saying better than ccam had a problem running pkt nubulla with crossepg so got the new alien e2 image ( running alien shd8900) using mgrand 1.35...... using DCC put it in usr/emu att 755 put mg config and newcamd list in usr/keys entered line dont work have other info in there should I delete .................... also when I open var/keys have ccam list ignore ....ccamlist mgrand ... replace mgrand list any ideas

  • how to remove extensions using DCC

    My memory has got low due to many extensions when I boot the box using PKT image screen says need to use clean up wizard delete an extension I click ok nothing in the list then screen goes green with error will reboot in 5 sec can I remove programs using DCC or dreamedit

    Hi guys running nebula very good channels load quickly cant seem to get crossepg to work properly go to set up config to usb then opentv *** 28.2 enable then download goes through process then press red to exit pop up box says no service tuner config then blank screen, also cant seem to down load cooltv from plugins starts then stops cant remove then goes off using merlin any ideas
