so boths boxes would have the ability to move the dish ?
what would happen if the dm800 downstairs was at 28.2 and the upstairs dm500 was sent to 13 e

so if i have the dm800 downstairs and run a feed off that to the dm500 will they both be able to control the dish or will it mess up

hi guys i'm about to purchase another box for the bedroom question is can i somehow conect it to the existing motorised dish and split the cable feed or will i need a seperate dish

tried to heat it up with a hairdryer woudnt budge i was worried i may damage the chip so wont bother fitted a new fan so all should be ok

hi guys does anyone no how to remove the heatsink on a dm800hd it seems solid i would like to change it for a better one

just flashed another image exactly the same no scanning setting the cable is in and working as its off the dm800 it must be the tuner surely

just reflashed gemini image and gues what its still the same no scan settings

tried that to its a real strange one think i will flash it from the wifes laptop i'm thinking somehow my setting on this laptop are all geared up for a dm800hd although i did change all setting but may be a bug could you advise on what dreamup version to use with a dm500 it maybe that to

Hi guys my brothers dm500 has all of a sudden messed up
(i think he's been fiddling with it) so i decided to reflash it
now it seems theres no option within the image to scan i have copied over a working service and bouquet file but nothing is happening its been a while since i had a dm500 am i missing something or has the tuner gone

defo the way forward mate when i get time thats what i will do with my setup have to try and track down a shiny scaffold bar

does anyone no what the openbox hd is like to use also the tm500 i no the technamate boxes are very reliable

Hi chaps i'm thinking of buying a linux box for my bedroom i currently have a dm800hd with the rev m tuner downstairs but dont want to spend that much i've read mixed reviews about the TM500 AND THE OPENBOX S9 i think it may be between these two but not sure OK1

ten what a great post think i may attempt this i have the same problem seems i have to aim the remote higher than the box
its so annoting some pictures would also be great

I guess it may help some people but not others the amount of people with these boxes now must be 1000s lets hope people find it useful

Newenigma2 EPG

Here we go guys I?ve put this guide together so you can enjoy a good Epg with Newenigma2 image for the DM800
If I?ve missed any thing please let me no I?m as I?m still new to the world of satellite

Press blue button on remote
Select newenigma2 services

next select manage additional software

now press online installer

add remove plugins

Wait for the package to download from the server

next scroll down about half way and select enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport

Next reboot dreambox then press blue button then select epg import

press blue sources

Then on this page select which providers you want but don?t be greedy as this can crash your box select one at a time first then press the green button

select yes to start downloading e pg your box will restart after its complete hope you enjoy
