  • Using internal card reader for TVR / Freesat Romania on Vu+ Duo 4K SE

    Hello,

    I currently use a CAM to watch TVR/Freesat Romania. It uses Conax, and the offical card is not paired and it's not CI+. I'd like to use the internal card reader instead, because I want to use the CAM to watch another service. I'm not sure how to make this work. I have OSCam installed because some channels are BISS encoded. Is there a way to continue to use the OSCam as well as the internal card reader? I'm not sure what settings to change, or how to add something so that I can use the internal card reader. Can anyone help? Thank you very much. I've already learned a lot on this forum.


    EDIT: I have tried adding the Oscam settings I found online, but I don't see how it relates to the internal card reader. When I insert the card (up or down) nothing seems to happen. It doesn't get recognised, unlike with the CAM which instantly gives me access to settings.

  • rytec.sources.xml randomly deleting itself

    I seem to be facing a similar issue. If I try to edit the sources.xml manually, it gets overridden by eChannelizer. I'm wondering if it's related to the eChannelizer.channels folder. Maybe if it doesn't find the source in there it just deletes it?

    EDIT: and by overridden, I mean within the echannelizer.sources.xml document itself. The MJH sources have now disappeared from the list. Changing the doc and FTPing it to the box doesn't actually change it (I can tell from the sizes of the XML files that it's not changing)
