  • Dreambox One image recomended for IPTV whatching and recording

    Thans powervu, but I read about Open teams does not give support to Dreambox One and Two...so this is an experimental image I guess...

    I think I tried few time ago and I had some "green screen crashes", but I can try to test it again...


    Do you think this one would be ok?

    I don´t use the IPTV at the same time in 2 devices...and when I use in Android every thing is Ok, I tested it on Kodi PC and fine too...but with other devices off session, in dreambox I have cuts...

  • Dreambox One image recomended for IPTV whatching and recording

    Hi all, I am looking for an estable image to watch and record (instant record and timer) for IPTV channels, but with my dreambox one, I´m having some problems with this.


    Main problem is when I set a timer recording, most of times, the channel cannot connect or get very soon disconected and nothing is recorded...Now I have original OE 2.6 image with script corrected for recording.. but same problem with Newnigma2, Gemini4, DreamElite....always using Jedi Maker plugin for set the bouquets...


    No problem with IPTV provider, because I can use it on other Android tv box without cuts, and on Kodi with IPTV recorder on PC also without problems...but I would like to continue using my dreambox one...so...


    In your opinion, what image should I try? Another alternative for IPTV plugin? I´ve read that Open team images are experimental on Dreambox One, and LibreELEC and CoreElec SD images, works with Kodi partially because IPTV recorder is not working there....

  • Armbian on the Dreambox Two

    I learned another think, let´s see:


    When it stays in "Begin: Running /scripts/init-premount ... (initramfs)", I can write as I said, so I tryed to write the same order: /scritps/init-premount, and the

    answer is Permission denied


    If I write sh /scripts/init-premount, it goes again to (initramfs) and stays there...

  • How To Flash CoreELEC on the Dreambox One UltraHD

    Hi I could burn CoreElec and Librelec to Dreambox one to run Kodi. It works, but when I try to install IPTV I found problems:


    - In Librelec I could install IPTV Simple Client, but when I set the IPTV list (it works on PC), it does not star to seek for channels.

    - Also, I tryed to install IPTV Recorder, but no way to do this...


    Any one with this problem?? I want to run Kodi with IPTV Recorder on my dreambox one to finish problems with IPTV recording channels of all the images I´ve tested.

    When I burn a SD and boot, it works till it says:

    Begin: Running /scripts/init-premount ... (initramfs)


    And stays like this....I can write with keyboard.... I don´t know if I have to write any order to start desktop..

    Hi all again, I´ve being reading and trying to run Ubuntu or Armbian on my Dreambox one, and I will make a resume for another people who can have same problems as me and try to get solution from people who knows about this:


    - With Armbian, I burn with balenaEtcher a 64Gb SD card with image "Armbian_23.02.0-trunk_Aml-dreambox_sid_edge_6.2.0_xfce_desktop.img.gz" or with

    "Armbian_23.02.0-trunk_Dreambox_sid_edge_6.1.1_xfce_desktop.img.gz" and boot Dreambox. It start to work till the screen stays in grey telling me:

    "Begin: Running /scripts/init-premount ... (initramfs)", the I can write but nothing happens...


    - With Armbian Ubuntu bionic, I burn "Armbian_5.89.190628_Dreamone_Ubuntu_bionic_default_4.9.113_desktop.img.gz" in same SD card, and when I boot, the dreamone starts normally in Opendreambox Enigma2....


    So I´m stacked here...and I really want to try those images in dreambox one...

  • Changing Dreambox One for other for IPTV use

    Hi (sorry about my english please...) I have a dreambox one ultra HD, but I´m very dissapointed about the alternatives in images and support....so closed and very poor plugins alternatives in my opinion. I use it for IPTV, and the most important things I need is recording and timer, not needed with EPG, with clock programing is ok.


    I´m having a lot of problems with JediMakerXtream plugin for IPTV, lot of times when I set timer for recording, nothing is recorded or the IPTV is not connected. (the lists are OK, because I´ve tested them in other devices like Kodi in PC, and no cuts...). I´ve tested all the images, Newnigma2, OpenATV, OpenPli, Opendreambox, Dream-elite....and always have problems and start again...so I´m thinking about sell this box and buy another, no need to conect to satellite so I´m looking for something with good plugins, IPTV alternatives and good working and good recording and timer options.


    What do you think about??
