I just checked what this update does. You can now download the channel list using Samsung TV streams instead of Pluto TV streams. (Live TV mode Samsung TV). Basically the same channels, but it replaces the adds with a background screen. As a consequence the picture doesn't freeze anymore during advertisements .

    Great work!

This happens to me with Gstplayer as well. I am using Zgemma H9SSE. Exteplayer3 works better for me. However, particularly with PlutoTV, Exteplayer3 sometimes hangs during advertising and I have to restart the stream. You can change players in the serviceapp.

Thanks everybody involved, I had the original version that was limited to one country. This one is a huge improvement! Works fine on Zgemma H9S-SE and OpenSpa.

    Howdy,

I am trying to convert the information in the bouquet file into a channel.xml file. All the information is there, actually an excess of information, it just needs to be extracted and sorted. A typical entry in the bouquet file would look like this:

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3A//stitcher-ipv4.pluto.tv/v1/stitch/embed/hls/channel/5ba3fb9c4b078e0f37ad34e8/master.m3u8%3FdeviceType%3Dsamsung-tvplus%26deviceMake%3Dsamsung%26deviceModel%3Dsamsung%26deviceVersion%3Dunknown%26appVersion%3Dunknown%26deviceLat%3D0%26deviceLon%3D0%26deviceDNT%3D%257BTARGETOPT%257D%26deviceId%3D%257BPSID%257D%26advertisingId%3D%257BPSID%257D%26us_privacy%3D1YNY%26samsung_app_domain%3D%257BAPP_DOMAIN%257D%26samsung_app_name%3D%257BAPP_NAME%257D%26profileLimit%3D%26profileFloor%3D%26embedPartner%3Dsamsung-tvplus:Pluto TV Spotlight

    #DESCRIPTION Pluto TV Spotlight

And the related output should look like this:

    <channel id="5ba3fb9c4b078e0f37ad34e8">4097:0:1:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3A//</channel>

I have done this with a text editor and it works fine. For hundreds of channels it requires a lot of manual work though. Anyone with a better idea?

I know it's almost trivial in C or Python, but my coding days are long gone. Maybe someone gets inspired and writes a little program...:cowboy hat face:.

Thank you both. I tried the beyonwiz image, but it does not load beyond splash screen.

Also, I checked, my bootloader is already at 750 Mhz, I have probably updated it at some point. It works however only with xpeedlx images.

I don't want to brick the box, unless I find a bootloader (from a reliable source) that allows me to load newer images, I'll leave it as it is.

    Hello Linux guys,

My first post here. I have an old Cloud Ibox 2+, which I still like a lot. It was last updated in 2014 and runs on HDF 4.0 with Kernel 3.6.0. I remember vaguely there was some polemic about a new bootloader not working properly, so I decided not to touch a running system and just use it as long as possible without update. It has now accumulated an amount of issues that suggest an install from scratch.

I can't however find any firmware that uses still the old folder structure ("xpeedlx), so I guess I have to use the new bootloader, but no idea how to get there. I have basic Linux understanding, but far from being a guru. Tnx for your suggestions.
