Thanks I think I got it. I finally found the setting called service on startup which was under all channels bouquet. Switched to the new BBC channel and it now works when coming off standby. So now should I still do a new ABM scan to remove the channel that doesn’t exist?

It just says DVB service. I’m pretty sure it was my local BBC 1 channel. How can I change that?

Thanks so much here is the picture below. I seem to remember, in the past, I set a certain channel the system should default to when waking up. I wonder if this is the reason since the channel may have no gone. Can you remind me how I can check this?
Thanks

Hey All
I’m running the latest version of Vix on my VU+ 4K and viewing freesat here in the UK.
I’m getting the error above (see attached) picture whenever I bring the box back from standby. Everything works perfectly when I press guide and select any channel.
I also noticed that channel 106 is showing as BBC ONE HD moved to 101. When doing a scan using ABM it disappears but comes back whenever I bring the box back from standby. I tried deleting it from the web interface but it’s still the same after coming back from standby.
Can anyone help me get rid of the above error plus get rid of the moved channel 106 permanently?
Thanks

Hey All
As the title suggests I am using Vix 6.0.003 on my VU+Duo4k and am wondering if I should upgrade via the onscreen upgrade process or should reflash totally?
Thanks

Problem solved, the volume of the VU itself was down low. Mistake easily made since im using a Logitech harmony remote which adjusts the volume of the Sonos not of the VU.

And now a new and interesting problem. Yesterday our plug sockets tripped and whilst everything came back the VU Box now has a volume issue with my Sonos system. let me explain.
I am running a LG65 Inch Oled, which is connected to the 1st gen Sonos Playbar via optical. The TV is set for all audio to go through the optical and therefore through the Sonos and obviously the VU box is connected to the TV via HDMI. Now the problem is the volume of the Sonos as to be as high up as 90% to be able to to hear the VU Box. This seems to be only affected the VU because when I flip to my Apple TV or NVidia shield there is no such problem.
I think the problem first presented itself after the sockets tripping. I tried rebooting the VU and the Sonos playbar with no success. Any ideas?

Works after full reboot thanks again

I can’t if try to change it using the right button nothing changes. Also I cannot go down to the menu’s below. Maybe a reboot after initialisation?
-
Which part?
-
Correct and it shows see below
But for some reason I cannot enable timeshift 57b7a442d0c2ce948df7a0809.jpg
-
Yes I believe it automatically did it
-
Don’t mind me I had to reboot the box. Now trying to enable time shift. I’ve the storage location to /media/hdd/timeshift which I think is on the SSD but timeshift won’t work when pressing pause
-
I dont see storage at all
-
So now I got myself a 500GB SSD and installed it into the Duo4k however I cannot see an option to format the hard drive under System - I’m using openvix, maybe I’m doing something wrong?
-
Indeed I totally agree. I’m having trouble finding some of the settings so I’ll keep looking. Also trying to find the code to include from the skins.Mel isn’t immediately obvious
Think I am going blind

Got it. Thanks

Thanks again, Ill go through them a little later. I noticed that the box doesn't power off from the remote power button, but does when going back to Vix's own Blue HD skin, is that a particular setting also?
-
I quickly went through them - thank you, ill have another go although I did notice there was some missing or didn't correspond on openvix. Should I assume that every setting you have specified will be on Vix?
