If it doesn't work immediately, try using a different USB stick (2GB - 4GB).

- Download the latest recovery image (e.g., OpenATV 6.4 sf8008 20220806 recovery emmc zip)

- Extract the image to a FAT32 formatted USB 2.0 or 3.0 stick.

- The following files must then be present in the root directory of the USB stick: apploader.bin, bootargs.bin, fastboot.bin, imageversion, and usb_update.bin.

- Safely remove the USB stick from the PC.

- Switch off the receiver using the power switch.

- Insert the USB stick into the USB 3.0 port on the right side of the receiver.

- Press and hold the standby button on the front panel of the receiver.

- Switch on the receiver using the power switch.

- When "Updt" appears on the receiver's display, release the standby button on the front panel.

- The menu will appear on the TV after a short time.

- Select "Recovery From" from the menu. Select "USB" or, on newer receivers, "Flash Recovery Image".

Flashing Instructions:

Disconnect the box from power -> Switch the power switch on the back to off

Insert the update stick into the side USB port

Press and hold the standby button on the front center of the box

Switch the power switch on the back to on

If the update stick is correctly recognized, "UPDT" will appear on the display. Now release the standby button.

A menu will appear on the TV screen. Use the remote control to select "Recovery from USB" and confirm with OK.

The box will flash automatically, which takes approximately 2 minutes. Afterwards, it will reboot automatically, and the initial setup wizard will appear.

The update stick can now be removed. > Done
