There have been 2 recent upgrades for this model, the first dated 04.09.22. SW version 1.05.86.

1. New video drivers installed.

This upgrade caused my receiver to have missing sound on some channels, including streaming channels.

This appears to have fixed the missing sound problem.

CLAP Online TV is a French streaming service.

my octagon has gone crazy for about twenty days, in the sense that the menu screen appears intermittently, sometimes even exasperatedly, and therefore I am unable to see anything.

i tried to reinstall open atv 6.4, but i didn't fix anything.

I tried your link and it worked. The first one I tried was Serbian/Balkan which is of limited interest, but then I found one which covers many countries. There's far more on there than I expected.

Sorry, I should have mentioned, I was specifically refering to the Stalker Portal app which is pre installed on (some?) Octagon receivers. It requires a log in and password and I don't know where you get those from.

How do I log in to Stalker Portal? I can find nothing online which explains it in clear and simple terms.

I have fixed it. I did a factory reset, I don't have the problem now. Make sure you back up your settings before you do the reset.

If anyone is thinking of buying this receiver, don't, it freezes often. It's disappointing, because I replaced my previous receiver the Openbox V8S, because of freezing problems, the freezing on that was much worse than on this though and there's nothing on the Openbox which is better than this receiver.

New internet firmware update dated 29/04/2022.

The only noticable change is a new app for CAM setting has been added.

The box also froze without losing the picture and I've also had sound loss. This is very disappointing considering I had similar problems with my previous satellite receiver, but worse.

I've had the SX87 WL for around a month, it's generally worked OK, except for a freezing problem, while watching a channel the screen will sometimes go blank and the receiver is unresponsive to the remote, it also sometimes freezes when changing channels. Switching the box off and on resolves the problem, but I don't know what's causing it or how to fix it.

I have an Octagon SX87 WL. There are apps for IPTV on it such as Stalker Portal and Xtream Server, but after searching online I have found no clear explaination of how to set these up, the whole thing is confusing for someone who has had no previous experience of IPTV. The Free TV app is quite good, but a lot of the links on there don't work.

Got a new internet firmware update today dated 02/04/2022. Don't know what it contains, no noticable changes to the interface or menu.

I've recently purchased the SX87 WL, looking through there menu there doesn't appear to be a timer to make recordings, which means it's only possible to make instant recordings or programmes which are on next on the EPG. I know this isn't an Enigma 2 receiver, but is there anything I could download to add a timer function?

It's difficult to find any information about non Enigma 2 Linux receivers online, regarding add ons.

Edit: I've found it, in Timers list, you can set recordings by pressing the red button.

I've just purchased the Octagon SX87 WL. Very satisfied with it so far, I got the latest firmware update when I connected to the internet.

Just one complaint though, why is the instruction manual so poor? Small print, photos which are difficult to see and it's not comprehensive. I would have expected better from Germany.
