I hate to intrude, but I now have the above working fine using mgcamd 1.38bh . In my mg cfg. file however G is set to 33 and B is set to 6. This is on the duo but I don't think it's any different. I assume you tried downloading a fresh version of 1.38 . I have had issues with back ups in the past! Hope it all works in the end for you buddy.

I managed to get a relatively cheap (£9.99 I think) replacement on ebay when my OK button detached itself and I have had no trouble at all with it.

I thought it was about time to update my bootloader and after following the instructions to the letter , I don't think it has worked. First of all, the whole process was over in seconds , almost immediately my duo was telling me to remove usb and reboot.

Suspicious at this point I telnet the following : cat /proc/mtd

and get :

dev: size erasesize name
mtd0: 07600000 00020000 "rootfs"
mtd1: 00400000 00020000 "kernel"
mtd2: 00200000 00020000 "boot"
mtd3: 00100000 00020000 "cfe"
mtd4: 00080000 00020000 "mac"
mtd5: 00080000 00020000 "env"
mtd6: 00100000 00020000 "nvm"

My understanding (and please feel free to correct me if I am wrong) is that the boot (mtd2) should increase to 4M. Have I got this wrong?

I would be grateful for any insight as to what is going wrong. Thanx in advance.

I perhaps should add that I already have BH 2.06 installed and it remained installed after the above process. Despite this I re-flashed and still got the same results.

Having the same problem here thought it was just me! It goes in fits and starts. Damned annoying to say the least.

Periodically when I change channel I get the audio description thingy. Is there any way to stop this happening?

It can be amusing, on occasion , like the titles to Dog The Bounty Hunter when it says over the titles "A woman with enormous breasts walks in"........I nearly choked on my croissant!!:snicker::snicker:

If you press the blue button , then red (EPG panel) there are several different options for you to play around with. This is on BH 1.78 light by the way. I have mine set on Rytec *** TV for 4.30 a.m and it hasn't caused me any trouble. Use whichever suits you really.:wales:
