I have not a Windows PC, only Linux, therefore I should need a flash procedure that works with Linux.

I have tried to use the DreamUp for Linux, but, the libglib files required to get it work in Ubuntu 20.04 are too old, today is not possible to use the DreamUp for Linux from 2011, so, I will try to solve the problem with a Windows PC.

Moreover, my Dreambox has two Ferrari CA, so, I have to flash it with software written to work with Ferrari.

I tried to run DreamUp on Linux using Wine.

DreamUp window came up on Linux, but the problem is that in Windows, the name of the port is Com1, etc.

In Linux, that ports are named tty1, etc.

So, DreamUp cannot work in Linux with Wine.

There is an old version of DreamUp for Linux, but it is for old and it cannot works in Ubuntu 20.04.

The problem is that DreamUp for Linux is depending on some libraries so old as 2005.

Is there some newer version of DreamUp for Linux?

Or some other utility I could use to connect my Dreambox DM800HDse using the service USB port?

Thanks master G, i have installed Wine and I try now to flash my Dreambox.

My Dreambox is showing the "no ca found" error.

I should need a DreamUp to use in my Linux computer.

It seems that DreamUp only works in a PC with Windows.
