Hello, I've given up on the Pi, although it's a real shame. In the meantime, I got an igel and, except for one thing, I'm getting along with it. How can I access the device with WinSCP? The only thing I'm missing is the right port! I've assigned a fixed IP address in the router, and that way I can access the box after booting it up (entering root and password, of course). Does the igel also have a desktop interface? It would be really great if I could get some help here.

Thanks to everyone who's helped me so far, but this isn't getting me anywhere, and it's not helping me achieve my goal. I'll have to find new ways.

A completely different question here. I'm neither particularly knowledgeable about it nor do I have a lot of time; I also have to work.

Would it be possible for someone to upload a finished Raspberry Pi image to a Google Drive or somewhere else, with the correct OSCam (HD04) already integrated and the Easymouse 2 also working?

Thank you for the helpful information, but first I'll try Easymouse 2. I would have to buy the Omnikey reader first, but I already have Easymouse.

-
Very good, it shows me how close I was. Thanks so much! I'll give you feedback again, of course.

Hi and thanks for the tip! Luckily, I have an Easymouse 2 and would like to try it out first. Could you help me with the configs anyway? That would be really cool and incredibly nice.

-
Well, I shouldn't be surprised that I can't get it to work with Smargo. Luckily, I have an Easymouse 2.
What should everything look like with that thing? Thanks!

A friendly hello,
I'm Lutz and almost new here. :zwinkerndes Gesicht:
Maybe someone can help me. I'm trying to get an HD04A or HD05 card working on my Raspberry Pi. I'm using Smargo as a reader. It would be great if I could get some support here. -
A friendly hello to everyone!
Thanks to some help, the Rasp Pi and OSCam are now running. Now comes the second difficult step, and I need all your help again. I thought I could manage the configuration on my own, but unfortunately, that's not the case. I'm also starting to doubt whether an HD03/04A/05 card will even work in the Raspberry Pi. Does anyone have any experience with this, whether it's even possible? If so, I would appreciate your support. Configuration, server, and user as it should be, if possible. Sunny greetings too!

Hello and thanks for the feedback. I'm happy for anyone who's willing to help me until the bitter end. ;-)
I have the Raspi 3. -
So, I was able to solve the problem by reinstalling. I now have the following version installed and can access it with Putty.
PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)"
NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="10"
VERSION="10 (buster)"
VERSION_CODENAME=buster
ID=raspbian
ID_LIKE=debian
HOME_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/"
SUPPORT_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianForums"
BUG_REPORT_URL="http://www.raspbian.org/RaspbianBugs"
I followed these instructions and got exactly to the point described. Nothing works with OSCam, absolutely nothing. Is this stuff even still up to date? I'm supposed to connect a Smargo (older version) reader to the RaspPi and ultimately use it to run the HD+ card. I'd be grateful if someone here could help me achieve this. ;-) Cheers!
How to install oscam on Raspberry PIa Blog for Satellite Communication Sri Lankapadmathilaka-wanigasekara.blogspot.com -
Hi everyone,
It's continuing, or rather, it should be continuing. The new Raspberry Pi is here, and unfortunately, I'm having the same problem as with the old version. Can someone please help me, because this error message means absolutely nothing to me. I've enabled SSH and VNC according to this instruction and now I want to access the box with Putty. https://padmathilaka-wanigasek…m-on-raspberry-pi-no.html
I installed this image:
2024-10-22-raspios-bullseye-arm64.img
Also die 64Bit Version, da ich bisher mehr 64Bit OSCam Versionen gesehen habe als 32Bit Versionen.
Gruß

Hi guys,
I've decided to buy a new Raspi. The old one is driving me crazy, I'm just waiting. *Rolls eyes* I'll be back in a few days, hopefully with a working one. ;-)

I can't seem to get any further. Even though I have SSH and VNC enabled, I can't access the box with Putty.
Here is the error

So, the new software is on the Raspberry Pi (Pi OS 32-bit from 10/22/2024). The network is configured and now what happens next? I really need step-by-step help with installing OSCam. First I need to get the cam running so that it starts automatically, everything else later. The question now is which OSCam version fits the above OS version (HD05)?
-
OK, I'll try it. ;-)

Hello back,
Thanks for the information, but I was already that far. :-) The card works in my DM900, but this is about the first generation raspberry pi. The Debian version is one of the first and definitely not 64-bit. I haven't managed to find the right OSCam yet. I've been doubting for a while whether it will work at all. A new suitable image with a corresponding OSCam already installed and starting up would be another option. I'm sure I'll get the config working. ;-) Perhaps someone can temporarily save something like that to a Google Drive and send me the link. ;-) Best wishes to everyone who wants to help me!!
