Many thanks for your replies! On Hotbird, for frequencies higher than 11804 it can reach a quality of 23% and strength remains relatively low. I will try to install dreambox-dvb-modules_ as you instructed and let you know.

Many thanks for your reply! I believe that issue is something relating to the identification of the tuner from the board. In my case, the tuner is identified and configured as normal but the signal is really really weak and I am not sure whether it is a software or a hardware related issue with a faulty component.

I have recently purchased and formatted an authentic Dreambox DM800HD receiver which contains an estar v1.0 sim with the image openpli-7.2-dm800-sim_e-star-ssl84-Oscam and which was stuck at boot before I formatted it. For some reason the particular receiver can receive a signal only for specific transponder frequencies and even that is very weak. Which component do you think could be faulty in order to replace it? Is it a problem with the tuner, the sim or the power supply? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello to everyone! I face the same issue with my dm800 hd. I flashed the Merlin-3 image for ssl84b using patched dreamup and I get the same error "Sim201 team #84B www.dm800sim2.com error! :ERR01: NO CA FOUND". What can I do to recover the box? The links above do not work anymore. Any help is greatly appreciated!
