Hey bud, i have ftp'd this to my dm500s "/tmp" folder, and manual updated through the GUI, it seemed to have started the flashing process and erased my old image, the box starts up to the commando 15.0b startup screen and states "Loading..." at the bottom but its not actually booting up, i've left it sitting for about 15minutes and nothing, tried a reboot and same again just the boot logo appears, also i cant see the dm500s on my network now to try another FTP

Any help would be great, cheers

Hey mate, this STB looks very similair to the Amiko Micro HD receiver, did you try a different IR bubble? Usually these would go faulty first before the remote

.. this looks quite similiar also: Ferguson Ariva 102 Mini HD

Never worked with the Wizard HD personally but all 3 of these boxes look almost identical

Thanks cazuela i will check that out, yes apologies on the "crap" basically i was trying to say that its crap on the iBox2 because of its processor abilities but i'm sure it works excellent on other stbs

download .abs file (extract if compressed) and transfer to USB.. plug in USB and go to > MENU > USB > Upgrade by USB > find your file name and select All SW & Bootloader wait to burn and box will reboot itself.

Ok, to cut a long story short, i had a Cloud iBox2plus which i bricked by updating the wrong bootloader (idiotic move) but by reading for hours about these boxes i have gathered that basically their a heap and i cannot be bothered going to extreme lengths of reprogramming this chip just to get this clone working again..

So, i have decided to invest in something good, reliable and must be Enigma2 based.. this box is used by most of my family, my dad records his shows and my mum uses the 7day EPG, the iBox2plus had all of this pre-installed when i bought it, there was however alot of crap on it that we would never use such as on demand and xbmc add on support (probably good on other boxes but the ibox2 was sluggish at performing these tasks)

i wish to have a good reliable single or twin tuner STB with E2 and possibly OpenVIX installed, simple view and record with a nice Sly skin attached along with crossepg and AutoBouquets

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hey folks, i just got one of the Micro HD receivers today however i ordered 2x Ralink RT5370 chipset WIFI dongles, but it doesnt recognise with the box, i later found out that both of the WIFI adapters i bought off fleabay dont work at all in any of my computers or even on my linux based laptop (cheap crap) can anyone point me in the right direction for a compatible WIFI adapter for these receivers, im based in the UK so a UK based supplier would be a bonus

Hey folks, i've currently got a DM500s running on a Gemini image (E1) ive tried and tried to get mount to work but i dont know what im doing wrong or even what im not doing, ive searched through loads of tuts and still no luck, the machine i am trying to save the content on is a Ubuntu 11.04 laptop

so far i have created a folder called "hdd" with a sub folder called "movie" and i have shared the "hdd" folder including its contents, on the DM i have entered in my machine IP address and Directory location of the shared folder but it doesnt seem to mount when i go to my DM IP address>config>mount manager

Could somebody help me out, ny suggestions at all please

its an all black front with a chrome strip across the front i have heard different stories about how to recognise a clone
could anybody enlighten this for me?

Hello folks i am currently attempting to setup my own private server to share with family & friends, im a complete newbie here go easy on me .
heres my setup;

-Linux Debian 6
-Webmin 1.610
-Cccam 2.3.0 Server

I am following the tutorial on the Linuxsat forum created by Ten Below - Automated CCcam 2.3.0 Install Package For Debian 6

i have followed and completed the tutorial until i have to edit the Cccam.cfg file and ftp the edited file to the Cccam server

however when i try to connect to my server host IP address i get in return this image;

the server status comes back as;

i have my server setup and running locally so i can edit via SSH however my computer i am using to edit the server is also a linux run computer running on Ubuntu 11.04 i can SSH using PuTTY SSH client but i cannot find an alternative software program for WinSCP

Any help would be much appreciated
