I have had motorised dishes for many years. I'm just setting up a new Technomate 2300 M3 with my Zgemma H9S. The motor arm is very loose, there is a lot of left right up down slackness in the arm, which means it needs to be nudged to align correctly. Should there be that much play/slackness in the arm? Also in discussions with the seller, I said that as I cant get a clear view of a lot of satellites, that I drove the dish using usals to 19.2e and aligned to that, but the seller said that wont work, it must be aligned to 0.8w to follow the arc correctly? Thanks for any info.
