has anyone got the nand version working. It seems to flash ok but rebooting the box it just sits on NAND on the display and does nothing.

ya getting the same problem here, wont boot from NAND, but works from HDD , would prefer NAND as i dont want my disk running all the time, but seems to be a good image, with the TS Media plugin as well, although its a bit of a hit and miss with it.

Anyone else get it to load to NAND ?

Do you know if the judder fix has been applied to this image ? no worries if you dont know, i`ll give it a go and see, sure what else would i be doing with my evenings :):wank:

ok being running Nebula v2 with the judder fix for over a week now and no issues or freezes, nice and stable ...thank F**K :)

i just have two things that are annoying me at the moment, one is that certain channels are defaulting to narrative (voice over ) whilst others are fine and the only other annoying thing is that the info bar pops up now and then without doing anything, just pops up with the channel guff, as if i had just pressed the info button.
anyone know of a fix ????

Hey, thanks for this. I've done it and no judder indeed. buuuuutt. I am seeing more freezes on the channels though for up to 5secs+. Just wondering whether anybody else who has done this has noticed similar or whether it's just my box. This is on Hyperion V1

Yes you could be on to something there, my Hyperv1 box has been acting funny since i changed the file, keeps dropping the network, hanging and channel freeze, whilst my other Nbox with Nebula zero v2 is working ok, fingers crossed, i dont use a payserver, but have my own subscription shared in the house so i know its not anything to do with external factors. Will keep an eye on it

bobbyjobby did you go into the tenet section through DCC and just type init 4 in the black box? What does this then do. I can see your steps but what does typing init 4 and init 6 do?

Not 100% sure what it does but i did it in the telnet section of DCC(Yes the black box), I think it shuts down enigmea and the Init 6 reboots the box, i was making the mistake before of just replacing the player2.ko file whist watching a station, hence it didn't work, only after doing what Musogeek advised did it work correctly

musogeek, just to let you know, i have fixed the judder issue on Hyperion image, from reading on other forms this will work for Nebula v2 also, dont know about v1 or v3, maybe someone can test.
The files you posted KARNEL 2.6.32.59_stm24_0211 , I took only the player2.ko file, as you advised, telnet to the box, type init 4, using Dcc, copy the Player2.ko file to /lib/modules , setting attrib to 755. Back to telnet, type Init 6 , reboot of box. Watching Slk sp0rts new HD ....with no judder!!!!! Same with the other sp0rts channels...... lovely jubbly!!!
i was getting close to tuning this nbox into a window box!

    Musogeek,
I took the plunge and installed openpli 8.3 in Nand last night, your correct that there are no plugins at all. two questions i have that you may be able to answer or point me in the right direction.
I set the box up and am running oscam, i have filled in all my details of my local server that it is pulling the codes from but for some reason every time i go to a scrambled channel it is just a black screen with thwe info bar, the infor bar states that it has been decoded, ND symbol goes green and i can see my nline reference but no pic, FTA are fine, web interface to oscam shows all good with my reader etc. I have tried the different oscam versions under softcam, but no difference.
second question is where do i get the ipk for cross epg or cooltv guide and also auto-bouquets, i`m not looking for any other plugins as i want to keep the box simple as possible, just to watch TV, record and a EPG, nothing else.
Do you think there would be sufficient memory in Nand to do this ?

Folks, the HD judder problem is getting on my nerves, i have been reading over on another form that replacing the capacitors in the box will fix the issue.
here is a list of the capacitors:
    Change on mainboard capacitors:
    C270 - 470uF/16V
    C271 - 470uF/16V
    C272 - 470uF/16V
    C273 - 470uF/16V
    C541 - 1500uF/16V
    C122 - 1000uF/16V
    C518 - 1000uF/16V

    and on tuner (small board)

    C96 - 470uF/16V
    C112 - 470uF/16V
    C113 - 470uF/16V
    C97 - 1000uF/16V
    C95 - 1000uF/16V

this was advised by user: Euro-Trans, he is the guy i purchased my box off of so i would expect that he knows what he is talking about.
my question is , has any done this and fixed the issue?
Lot of hassle if it doesnt!!

is there any way this fix could be applied to Hyperion v1 image, or the v2 whenever it finally gets released for NBOX? I've only just got my Hyperion image running stably and don't want to mess with it!! :)

That would be great too ,a fix for Hyperion ..............would save my bacon!!! Impossible to watch a footy game with judder and i don't have a super tv so cant do the 25hz fix.

Anyone got any pointers on how to install this to the HDD? i assume i can use the Pen version, i have installed Hyperion to the HDD before but this was in a .*.tar.gz format where this one is a img file .
I have my partitions setup and i have also configured duo boot for it, so i have freebox loader for this image, just a bit lost as to the install of it. I dont want it in NAND as i have Nebula Zero there and its nice and stable.
