can someone please tell me how to install the pkt blue panel so i can update, i don't seem to have it at all and when i press the green button my box crashes

just relapse the satellite.xml file so that it only has the satellite that you want in it,

satellite.xml can be found here "/etc/tuxbox", (alien2)

search google for a satellite.xml generator and add the satellites that you want.

i gave up with hdmu images as they are not stable atall, i'm now using open pli hybrid and it is far better

"gstreamer error: missing gstreamer plugin on2 vp6/flash decoder not available"

thanks for the response folks, i think with all the differences of opinions i'll leave my openbox the way it is as it is working fine, i'll just keep using the proper images that come out, if there will be any more, Thanks agin

i have had a few crashes also and when going into plugins i was getting an error telling me there was no menu.cfg in the PKT folder so i had to delete it from the plugins, Also when going into oscam via webif (boxip:8888) i got a massive error due to project valkarie so i had to delete project valkarie and once this was done i could get into the oscam user menu with no problem, stll crashing with the blue button unless you long press the blue button, then the softcam manager comes up, other than what i have mentioned this seems to be a good release which needs a little work, probably should of been listed as a "beta" version of the image

Just wondering what firmware i can install onto my openbox s12, for example can i install s16 firmware or even ***box f3 f5 firmware, just curious cause the operating systems seem to be pretty much the same.

installed on amiko twin and it seems to be ok so far, if i find any problems i'll report back

well as it happens i have managed to find an image that works i am currently scanning for channels and finding 188 so far at 18%,
I'm using a fixed sly dish on 28.2e and i always set both tuners for port a and b to 28.2 and i have never had a problem until this morning, just found it really strange that all of a sudden the enigma side of it messes up, however i was using an HDMU image, the latest release and it was very buggy, spark i can't get to work for me at all. the image that i have found that is working is this one.

ok i'm getting a tuner failed problem on every enigma2 image that i install but when i use spark it's all ok apart from not being able to get cccam to work which i'll figure out eventually, if anyone knows how to rectify the problem please help me.

yeh the a/v output is still working no problem there, do think if i gave it to someone they might be able to fix it, i know someone that could fix it cheap if it's possible

I have just purchased a second hand openbox 12 which stated that the hdmi was not working, i have loaded a new firmware hoping that that would fix the issue but still nothing, i have also tried changing the video out to yuv and still nothing, any idead or could this be a hardware issue?

change the permissions of "autobouquets_e2.sh" to 777 and it will work, also make sure that your on a channel such as bbc or itv for it to work properly

i'm having trouble getting the image to install plugins, i can install the manually with no problem

i have just bought a faulty slybox s12 which has a faulty hdmi so i'm wondering what the best firmware would be for it as i am hoping that all that is wrong with it if it isn't it's no big loss as i only paid a tenner for it.

thanks for the reply, ive been a few days now trying to figure this out but to no avail the bit that i am looking to edit is highlighted in yellow in the pic that i have put up so if anyone know where this file is it would be great, as you can see from the pic showing the same for both now and next events. I am looking to edit a skin that is available on enigma 2 as the one that i am using isn't very nice but it has a few features that i like and i would like to try and implement them into another skin but i can't find the location where the skins are on the box, i am running an HDMU image, if anyone can help that will be great. I have started to use this image and so far so good apart from one little thing and its just me being picky, when you press the ok button to bring up the channel list there is a discription of what is on now but I would also like to know what is on next without having to use the epg, so does anyone know how to get this to happen? Is it just a skin that I could use or is it a plugin or even a bit of code that needs written? Please help. Thanks
