    Has anyone managed to get crypt8 from a running ts stream?


    I'd like to use python and just keep scanning until it findsa a c8, instead of pre-recording ts and than going through the file. Especially with modulators that barely send crypt8 this seems easier?

  • 7E - Which beam to look at?

    I'm looking to join the hobby of satellite TV, and have already found a ton of useful information on this forum. Thanks for that! I have a (noob) question of which I haven't been able to find the answer.


    I'd like to have a satellite that can receive sports feed from 7E. I live in the middle of the Pyrenees, so SatBeam recommends a least a 65cm dish for the A beam. However, do I also need to consider the B beam? Because that would make it to a minimum of 90cm.
