As it says in the title how do I forward and rewind when using timeshift on the remote as there aren't any dedicated buttons on the actual remote. Thanks in advance.

Hi ive been looking at xxxxxx xxxxx and it seems great. Im not sure if your on xxxxxx but I am trying to make an account and it says i need an invite code. How do i go about getting an invite code?
You don't say what model it is and there are models that cannot access the forever/apollo server. Be careful before you buy.
Just searched for the gtmedia and seen one for £38 from a well known chinese retailer thats sponsoring the euros right now. Might pick that one up now lol.
Thank you for your help. I think i'll pull the trigger on the sat 4k then. A couple of final question:
1. My standard sky dish 60cm is already positioned to 28.2e so do i just need to change the lnb, follow your guide, change to premium sp server and then it should be able to pick up sky sports and tnt sports channels?
2. How do the channel numbers work. Is it something that i need to setup myself and is it possible to make them the same as sky numbers ie(bbc 1 hd-101, sky sports main event-401 etc).
Thanks again for your help.
So im stuck in two minds, I need a box for freesat that is easy to use and can record programs simply for the family. And then i would like to be able to watch sports like sky and tnt via satellite as well.
Either I go for:
-Viark sat 4k (for sports) and octagon sf8008 (freesat)
or
-qviart dual (android-sports and e2-freesat)
So i think i may go for the first option as although more expensive it will give me a better experience. If you have any thoughts let me know i appreciate it.
oh sorry
The forum sponsor does not sell these boxes anyway. I got mine from o# D#####L. If you buy one of these boxes just be prepared that its a cheap chinese box so the quality is not what is expected for a box of the price you will pay. Then remember that it opens channels that E2 boxes don't. With the purchase you take the risks just like the next person. I've had mine for years and i don't use it as i have the qviart dual which opens the same channels.
So would you recommend the qviart dual instead or any other box that can unlock the forever server?
Display MoreHi, im not sure if anyone will reply as its been a few months sich this thread was active but I have a few questions about the viark sat box:
1. Will i be able to use this box with my standard sky dish and if so do i need to change the LNB or will my sky q lnb work.
2. How much does the box cost in the uk and how much is the subscription when the initial 2 years finish
3. Is it worth it over iptv service i have now which is always 90 seconds behind and buffers quite a lot. Is it stable and what are the chances of it going down in the future
1, You will not be able to use your sky q lnb unless you were lucky enough to have had a hybrid lnb fitted, if not change it to a universal lnb.
2, Most of us buy from oversea such as spain. Hopefully you don't get hit with customs. With the viark sat you get 2 years basic subscription included and the viark sat 4k is 3 years. If you wish to view 28.2 uk channels then you need to upgrade to sp1 which takes a year off of your subscription length.
3, Picture quality over iptv is far better, its satellite so no lag time. You take the chances it goes down just the same as your iptv could go down. A lot of us have multisat so if 28.2e goes we switch to another satellite.
Is "XXXXXX" a reliable website. Im thinking of buying the viark sat 4k from there at £108.
