there is a galaxy tab4 10.1 & a galaxy tab pro 10.1 ,,,they both look the same.....the pro is £20 cheaper than the tab4 ,,,does anyone have any ideas on which one would be the better buy.....
thanks abu baniaz , got it sorted.
ive just setup this image on my dm500 ,,,everything working fine,,,just wondering is there any way to set the channels to my region "n.ireland",,,,
This worked a charm on a dm500 via tuxbox cheers mate.
here is another way.
1- install the tuxcom from Addon-Plugins - restart your Dreambox
2- go to tuxbox
3- now you have the root of dreambox - goto : var then etc
4- you will see 2 times 1-(passwd) and (Passwd-) the (passwd-) is the original password and the (Passwd) is the last made one by the last person.
5- now goto (passwd) and delete it and agree for deletion,,,,
6- goto (passwd-) and choose rename with help of the down numbers and write again (passwd) and save changes.
7- exit
if you go for a static ip ,,you wont need a dyndns account,,,,,,,,,,,,i prefer to have a dynamic ip address. a static ip is easy to trace "copyright material comes to mind...".....as for ecm times i never noticed any differance....as i had a static ip for a few years,,but lost it when i moved to bt infinity.....unless you are hosting a web server,,,file server,, ect i dont see any advantage.......maybe when we move to ipv6 we will all have static ip addresses......as there will be 340 trillion, trillion, trillion, to go around.
works fine with cccam using patch mentioned in post 4,,,,,,,,,,,are you trying to clear hd channels on 28.e??
support for these boxes died a few years ago,,,,,,,i havent seen any up to date channel list,s in a long time,,,,,your best bet is to do your own list, which is painfully slow .......i use mine now on a spare motor and dish for the odd biss feed ,,,not much use for anything else .
does anyone know of any fta broadcasts of tonights title fight in belfast.....
Does anyone know of an update to allow arora to work with wifi in xbmc on raspberry pi?,,,
Also is it possible to install showbox on raspberry pi.
DCI Danny Medlycott,,,,did not happen to mention the scandalous prices of subscription tv which is the main reason we have these problems,,,i know these pay servers just tear the ass out of it.as usual its the hobbyists who loss out to these twats.as the saying goes "good things arent meant to last",,,,,,,,,,,send these crime units to rupert,s door and charge him with extortion the greedy get......id love to see him working for minimum wage and tryin to feed a family and keep them entertained ,,,,,,,,long live cs.:20_003:
anyone know if there is a version of android for the pi,,,,,,,would be great for apps ike tv portal and mx video,,,,,
after watching the video i see that this guy,s nas supports webdav which is the protocol he is using in xbmc,,,,,,,,,,after reading the spec of my zxcel nsa320 i find that it does not support this protocol,,,,,maybe this is why im having issues,,,,,,it,s back to the drawing board again...........thanks .....ill try again tomorrow,,,as my head is fried today....frustrating
thanks for the reply,,,,,,,,i can get it working internally without any problems,,,,it,s setting it up to share over the net is where i am having issues,,i have used the davshttps protocol,,,,,as the nas drive supports this,,,i enter my no-ip name,,,,,port number,,,,remote path,,,,user and password,,,,,it seems to connects but no files are showing.
im trying without success to connect to my zxcel nsa320 nas using xbmc on a friends laptop ,,,, i have enabled web publishing ,and forwarded a port,on the nas. also enabled https support.
i can connect to the nas through the web browser which works fine , has anyone else tried this, or have a step by step guide as to how ,,,,,,as i am stumped.
:06:
there has been whimpers of a so called enigma 3 system in the works " could be a myth, who knows ",,,,,,,,..........your best bet would be to sit tight for a while and see what happens.......the fact that *** has blocked the hd channels means nothing,,,,,,,how many other providers are still available through out europe??? loads of channels still available with a motorised system,,,,,, as for boxes there are hundreds of options out there all basicly doing the same thing,,,,,future proofing is not an option, as no one knows what tomorrow will bring in the world of sat tv,,,,,i do a lot of viewing now on a matricom mx2 running android with apps like showbox and xbmx which provide plenty of entertainment for the whole family, there is and always will be other options out there to explore..................if you want something to fill the gap for a while get a spiderbox 6000 which you can get from the forum sponsor well worth the money but will require a motorised dish to unleash it,s full potential.
updating the ip list for the spiderbox is working fine here,,,,flick through the menu until you get s/w upgrade, then select upgrade by network, you will then have the choice of upgrading your iptv lists ..there are 4 lists to choose from...pick one and update.....
you can also make up you own list from links you get elsewhere...
you can backup all your addons to usb or sd card.
thanks for your reply...
updating the softcam the way you mentioned is what i have been doing ,or updating through the network update option from the menu,,,,,what i want to do is open the softcam file for manual editing,,,,like you do with opensource boxes using notepad or similar ,,,,,,i want to know what to use to open a .ssu file.
im using a 90cm at the moment with a technomate 2600 motor here in n.ireland,,,,,
once you get your bracket plumbed up,,and the motor and dish angles set it should be pretty straight forward using usals and any sat of your choice..with some minor tweaking to get the best signal strength.
