To connect to Octagon SF8008 when on DEFINE-OS try DCC ( Dreambox Control Center) 2.96 and click on Webif top right and you'll have the setup screen.
Of course you need to know the IP you have set on Define then , id=root pass=root.
Thanks, but unfortunately, this address opens access to the setting up of iptv urls addresses and others but not the same webif as the classic enigma2....no problem, I found another method to access....

It's a little more complicated than the classic images, it all depends on where you installed your define image....
For example, if your image is in second place in your multiboot, you will go with DCC or other, in /var/volatile/tmp then /userdata2/gx/local and there you see the oscam, ncam etc files.....
Then for the location of the channels, it's in the same place, at the top and is called enigma_db and you can put the channels in satellite format, you can copy and paste your favorites without iptv....
Then the bin files, are in linuxrootfs2 then /usr/local/bin and finally if you want to access the device data and other, you type in your browser the ip address of your box.....
If you have your define image is in another location you go from 2 to 3 or 4 as you need.....

Unfortunately, there is a bug with the aglare skin, if you make a change like wanting to put the setting on big tv, when restarting, the skin does not come back, it stays on the default skin and you have to reflash....

You make a valid point, they are 2 different devices. You really should not complain if your trying to run software from the wrong device on your SF8008.
Ah ok, it's about having put a program from the titan on the octagon ???? No, personally I never do this kind of experiment, the Octagon is quite complete enough as it is in images....
