Got sick to death of using DreamboxEdit under windows !0, and its updates and crashes so I have bit the bullet, and put on Linux Mint 20.2

is there any Linux Apps for doing the same type of editing that windows 10 did, if so can you give me any pointers ??

Hi Can anybody help me on above, im au fair on CCcam, but out of my depth on above
from what i gather i download Newcamd from my box plugin menu, then install to my box

Now the difficult part, again i gather two files are used newcamd.list and mg_cfg ??
where do these go on my box paths/folders etc ??

Once the files are in correct paths, which path, would i put my friends nline given to me
i have read somewhere, i need to start all with Softcam Manger, for line to take effect ??

hi m8 question I must ask if you have vermin tivo box running normally, and you put a splitter in for Uno box
will vermin not pick it up doing a line check ??

Hi m8, I can confirm it is the same procedure you suggested on Tivo box, I followed it and got 19 pages of info, including netid and frequency..

Hi suites the problem with tuner is resolved now, I downloaded the latest BH 1.7.8 image and reflashed
my box using all the previous setup I had for tuner and service searching etc etc, did a fresh scan
and hey ho everything is fine, my conclusion it was the BH 1.7.7 experimental image !!!

Hi by a wiki i had set tuner to advanced and make sure from wiki all neccessary boxes were ticked if need be
my setup is motorised dish, parked on 28.2e, which works fine for my Spider very good signal strength and quality
using satinder in Uno on predetermined freq also gives good strength and quality, scanning goes no bother

but viewing channels is another matter, unless what i do previously stated, then good success !!

Hi Guys i recently bought a Uno which had 1.7.7 Experimental preinstalled for me by supplier

Now on setting up im having major problems, after a scan on 28.2E channels
appear in list, but selecting any FTA or Encrypted ones i cant view them, my friend suggested it may
be a tuner problem in that image ??

His next suggestion was to make my Uno a slave box using loop thru
from my redundant Spider, then if i put Spider in sleep mode, and switch
back to my Uno, i can then see any channels including FTA, and Encrypted !!

I have downloaded the latest BH 1.7.8 Light Image, but it will not flash into Uno
using a formatted usb pen in Fat32, inserting into front usb port, while box is
switched off, then on and holding CH- on box front panel, box says starting
dosent look at pen, and proceeds to boot as normal, i dont get on screen prompt
to start flash update procedure ???

Hi Guys

Im taking the step from a Spiderbox 9000 HD to a VU+ Uno
i have lots of recorded movies on my Spiderbox HD hard drive

The Question i would like to ask if i mount my hard drive in UNO
would it see movies files, which i beleive are stored in .TRP
format on my Spider, or would i have to re format my
drive and lose all recorded movies ??
