I have been using dvbViewer for a while with OSCam 2.24.12-11865-802 and that works great with German channels on 19.2 East. But I am also using emulater for BISS keys and that doesn't work great.

So I installed dvbDream and that works fine for the BISS keys so I added dvbapiNet.dll to the plugins/pip00 folder to start using Oscam. Basically it seems to work fine, but where in dvbViewer basically all German channels opened, in dvbDream only a few open / give a clear picture. I see that a line is activated but no picture appears.

Would I need to change some settings to get things working or do I have to choose the app that opens a specific channel?

So I recently installed oscam OSCam 2.24.12-11865-802 on my windows PC and with some help managed to start decoding BISS coded channels (like AFP news on 10 East) and it basically works but I seem to have one 'problem' I am not sure what is the cause and if I can solve it. When watching AFP News the video playback is not smooth. The playback kind of stop/starts about every second. With the other software I used Vplug without problems but in Oscam not yet. Might be some (global) setting in Oscam but don't really know the settings.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but will give it a try... some time ago I found an Oscam-Icam version that I can run on my Windows PC in connection with DVBViewer Pro and aht is working nicely. The version is OSCam 2.24.05-11788. Part of the problem is I lost the original software so not sure what the filename was.

Now I found a newer version that should work on PC (it is oscam-2.24.12-11863-802@d4d36ee-x86_64-libusb-pc-cygwin) and when I run the exe it does start a command window and the software runs. But now I would like the software to not run in a command window and I would like to make this version active in DVBViewer.

Any clues as to how I can solve this?

UPDATE: today I started comparing both versions and how oscam is started and managed to get the new Oscam working the same way as the old one. Also with this version emu is working so now need to find out how to get a BISS key for a channel working in softcam.key
