I think the dish size will dictate the motor size

Thanks for that digi247, the 1224 was what I was interested in several years ago. My CM is fibreglass and the top and bottom bearing supports are a bit loose, so when the dish is pushed West or East there is about 25-30mm movement at the lnb. This doesn't interfere with the signal as I have setup only 28.2 at present. All other sats are saved except their respective bouquets. I might just stick with a new Superjack for now, saves all this declination and inclination all over again.
the 1224 is a great motor I use it on my cm 1.2 attached to a 6" dia pole 10ft in the air , it has had some stick over the years , wind rain and snow I must admit it was a bitch to set up but we got there

you can go up to a 90cm dish without planning permission and if I remember right you can get a mesh one , and a alsat dark motor with metal gears are very good , with the mesh one I think you can paint them any colour you want to blend them in to the surroundings , hope it helps

I have just installed Black hole 2.0.8 on my vu+ duo but have no clue on how to get cccam.cfg. Before I could easily ftp on DCC and input my cline but no Ccccam.cfg in DCC now. Please help me.try another ftp clinet like filezilla or winSCP

if you have a vu box there is a app vu player on google play I have not used it myself but reading the forums there has been some good results , and I don't know if it works on any other e.2 boxes or if it just for the vu
