Flashed a gemini back up with ccam 2.2.1, so i ftp my ccam.cfg to var/etc and it worked...
Well like you could share your s*y card for another through newcamd but thats kinda awkward and wouldn't really be feasible for others...
I would advise the pc or cheap server route mate..
I picked up a dm500 cheap as i was stuck in the same boat as you!

As not many will want to share with you for just your local (as you can't share your hops) unless its a very good local...
Do you have a card like?
Payserver is not the way to go mate! Payservers are scum m8 and could end up getting you in trouble!
If you have a card you can share it through Newcamd but that is limited to be honest!
As you can only share you card and no other hops to 10 clients at max...
Unfortunately the spiderbox like he openbox is only a ccam client and can not be used as a ccam server!
However you still have options..
If you have an old pc lying around the place you could turn it into a debian or ubuntu server!
Or buy a cheap box that will act as a server, eg dm500s!

You need to go out to that motor and set it to 0...
And then your reference sat is 0.8 west...
Then you enter your details for lat/long...
And if your elevation is correct and your on the arc you will pull in the sats A1!!
Just keep an eye out for people who use 2.1.3 or less isn't it?
(stupid question) - Have you tried the erase image?...
Some posts are in the exchange section m8... Your not going to reply to them!...
Others are tutorials which are locked for a reason so no-one can chat/hijack at the end of them....

An openbox cannot share through ccam which means you won't get clines in which means no ?? channels if you get me!
Yes Creative doesn't advertise them but I think we could request them maybe...
Am an openbox may not be a wise choice if you are interested in getting involved in card sharing...
Don't get me wrong they are a top notch box if you have a debian server to act a client,or just for fta..
But they cannot act as a ccam server, i.e. cannot share out from the box...
Tried and tested and reported working today by oscam!
