AS you all know STV Hd isnt on the normal *** EPG and is listed on my screen as 3855, yet every time I change this on Dreamset when updating the channels, it reverts back to 3855. Anyway to sort this?

Ive just inherited a DM500-S, my spare box in the bedroom is my old TM 9100, is there much point changing over? Ive never used a Dreambox before, if I can setup my Solo 2, and my TM 9100, I take it I should be able to do this too?

This is a spare box for the bedroom, ive setup Edg Nemesis 4.4 and installed mgcamd1.35a. I have a line from my sub, and in var/keys I have the mg_cam and newcamd.list files. On the stb on the blue button, I have mgcam 1.35a as default cam, Ive restarted it, but no channels are clearing.

any clues? Im really frustrated at this ! :)

So I cant just click on a PPV channel and 'open' it? I looked at the TS Media plug in, thats streaming movies similar to Netflicks yeah? I tried to open some of the streaming channels like ABC from US TV and they froze my box.

Any way of viewing these?

well, in a way yes lol but as I said I can get the SD broadcast, but no HD, both black screens. KOS says they are on 28.9E? SD and HD all on same transponder?

Can anyone get these new channels tuned in in UK? I added them manually, black screens on both but get the normal SD broadcast. Have they started HD transmission yet?

Yeah I know that mate, if im in bed watching it, no one will be in the other room to watch a different channel anyway lol :)

With my old Technomate 9100, I ran a coax from middle room to adjacent bedroom, had a magic eye type of remote sender to change channels from the other room and every thing was hunky dory, however the Solo 2 doesnt have the RF / Co Ax output, whats the easiest way to share the box between the 2 rooms? Could I run the yellow red and white phono connectors into the back of the bedroom telly?

Is it possible there is a fault with the image, meaning the remote control will not alter any settings?

Thanks mate for the info, but when Im altering the data to do a manual search, I cant change the numbers already on screen! How do I do that? Tried putting the cursor over the numbers but I cant change anything !!!

Just downloaded and setup the image from VU+ Solo 2 section 'OpenPLI 3.0 UK Ready VU+Solo2 Backup June 2013'. I have amended the channel list for my preference, adding Scottish channels, re-ordering HD channels into what I prefer etc but STV HD is failing to tune, if I go to the 28.2 sat, channel named 3855 isnt shown, when I attempt to do a manual tune of the transponder I cant alter any of the details via the remote - what am I doing wrong? Tried entering the numbers, tried up and down arrows. Puzzled here :)

GOT IT I changed tuner A to advanced rather than simple and diseqc to 1.2, strange as its a fixed dish but anyhow, all my channels are ON!!!! Woohoo!

Well it does so I wont mention it lol but can I suggest if some premium channels are open and others aren't, that I could have a faulty tuner A? Scanning with A gives me 218 services, scanning tuner B gets me over 950 services, all are listed in my channel list but if I select some then theres a black screen. In saying that, surely tuner B should open any channel I request, a faulty tuner A would only mean I couldnt record 1 channel and view another, yeah?

Well I got all the channels to list after a scan now, used tuner B rather than A (before I had just swapped cables incase either of them were faulty. Never thought of trying the tuner! lol But strange thing is now I have every service listed, but still only some clear and others dont (dunno if Im allowed to talk about how I decrypt my channels?)

Im running a scan on my solo 2, got 2 feeds from a *** dish that used to run my *** + multi room box and STILL does run our lounge *** HD box. When I perform a scan on the solo 2 Im only picking up 218 services from 28.2E, any clues why Imnot getting the lot? Tried replacing the satellites.xml file, uploading the latest catseyes services file, nothing, at least two thirds are not being picked up. Anyone any clues?
