    if you are certain that you only have 3 users linked back through n line in cccam . As long as they have no furthur reshare then mulitply the *=15 by 3 . So you would have *=45 in context .

    Is this correct? so I could use the anti cascading measure, what would the *=45 mean?

    Surely this wouldnt be able to stop one specific user ,it would send a penalty to all 3, if 1 breaks the rules?

    Trying to get youknowhoo's check CCcam and restart script working on ubuntu, have put it in exactly the way he has it , when I kill CCcam and then manually run the script nothing happens, have you ever heard of this before.

    It should work?

    Thanks

    Have done that lads and this is the output

    12:08:06.465 CCcam: ======================================================================
    12:08:06.465 CCcam: starting CCcam 2.1.3 compiled on Nov 14 2009@00:48:18
    12:08:06.465 CCcam: ======================================================================
    12:08:06.465 CCcam: online using nodeId 2fac8e98b6dc4a8d
    12:08:06.466 CCcam: create 1 cam device(s)

    Still no process created?

    Ok thats great will try all of this.

    I didnt run any CCcam install script, ubuntu was preinstalled on server. I just made the required directories in var/etc and copid CCcam.x86 into usr/local/bin.

    Not sure where the scirpt you say has come from.

    I just copied the CCcam.x86 bin file into /usr/local/bin and chmod 755.

    When I ran CCcam.x86 it ran and process was there.

    It was 2.1.1 which I dont want, so I got the 2.1.3 bin file, it is the same CCcam.x86 and down the exact same thing but when I run it by typing CCcam.x86 it looks like it runs but there is no process created. Im not trying to run the CCcam.x86 from a script.

    Morning, trying to get CCcam 2.1.3 to run now on ubuntu, used a great step by step guide from youknowhoo and ran CCcam.x86 and it created process, but its CCcam 2.1.1, I need 2.1.3.

    I copied the 2.1.3 bin file across and chmod 755 that and place it in usr/local/bin and ran that but it looks like it started but when I do a ps -aux no process has started.

    Any ideas why this might be?
