  • Tuner config on solo2

    Hi, I was setting up 2 vu solo2 boxes for 2 seperate friends, both on vix as that's what I use on my duo, I set tuner A as single 28.2 and tuner B equal to tuner A. As soon as instart recording all channels go blank as if only 1 tuner working? I tried setting both tuners to simple, single 28.2. Tried setting tuner B to loop through tuner A. I checked I was getting a feed from both cables and I checked individual timers. All worked fine. Channels 1 to 5 always worked when recording but my paid channels would not work when recording.

  • ZGEMMA star h1 wont flash

    Hi I flashed a zgemma h1 last week using my sandisk cruzer 8gb, iv purchased a new box, got it today and i have tried 3 usb pen drives and a usb flash drive, nothing will work! the box is brand new, is there anything i should do in the box setting first?

  • Want to replace my VU+Duo, What should i get?

    Hi, Iv had my Vu+Duo now for a few years, i have always ran VIX backup images (as anytime i try to set a fresh one up it doesn't work) I have always noticed my boy is rather slow and very temperamental i.e if something is recording and i try and play a recording at the same time the box will freeze, if i have to restart the box i have to unplug it for over 10 min or it wont boot up. i may be wrong but I'm putting this down to a slow cpu and low flash memory?


    This being the case i would like a fast reliable box, Twin tuner, good RAM/flash. I use it as S*y box only, i did use 1channel etc a lot when i first got it but i cant get anything like that to work any more.


    Which Box would fit the bill?

    P.S there will be a Vu+Duo up for sale soon............Providing the issues i am having are user error/software rather than hardware issue.

  • nothing works in tsmedia. help please

    Hi guys, im running openvix apollo build 008 3.1.1 with a vu+duo. i have went months and months now without 1channel icefilms etc. i have tsmedia now but when i choose any media site like the 2 mentioned above i get the same error message everytime for e.g i select series, a-z a, i get Error:addon, no return data, check details with info button. any help would great. thanks.

  • vu+ duo box stuck in a crashing loop.

    hi guys, came down this morning to my vu+ duo box starting up then crashing straight away in a loop. reading the crash report on the tv it defo looks like something to do with airplayer, i have tried connecting to the box using dcc but its not staying on long enough to pick up the ip address and connect. any suggestions anyone? thanks.

  • Can not update as feeds are down?

    Hi all, I was having a lot of issues with my box, crashing when recordings started, plugins would not install, box would crash and not come back on unless I unplugged power cable for 10 min.......etc etc. I decided to flash box with a backup Vix image, it looked great but was very very slow, again if 2 recordings started at the same time the image couldn't handle it and if I pressed the buttons to quick the box would freeze, I have decided to go back to my old original openvix image, box is working great but I would like to update my current image without a flash but I keep getting the error message all feeds are down, that's 3 days now, I'm using a vu+ duo Vix 3.0 build 521

  • All s k y sports channels missing?

    Hi, I noticed yesterday that on my vu+ duo running openvix Apollo, that all my sports channels have gone, with the exception of news and f1. Done an sd channel *** a while ago to remove all HD channels and the s k y sports wer still there. Not sure when they have vanished, may have been when I flashed box with above mentioned image about a week ago. I have used autoboquet maker to scan correct region. My max digital box is working with all sports channels except HD obviously.
