I was hoping that someone may be able to help me out. I have just got a Blade 5000s and have been reading the forums on how to load the 9991 firmware.
I tried 'BM5000s-07-07-14-r32720-FULL' first and after loading it the box just started looping around displaying 'boot' and 'start'.
I managed to download the RS232 PC to STB Flash Loader from the Blade Media web site and flashed the box with BM5000s-07-07-14 Latest version for Blade Media BM5000s - 07/07/14 - FULL FLASH again from the Blade Media web site. This worked fine and the box was up and running again.
Then I tried to flash it with 'BM5000s 'firmware 090214 with 9991 menu and 7 day epg' and the box started looping again so i flashed it back with the details from the Blade Media web site. All okay again.
My last attempt was with 'BM5000s March Firmware', and again my box started looping and not stating up.
I have now reloaded the Flash from the Blade Media web site and all is good but i really need to get the 9991 menu update on to my box.
If any one could help me out it would be much appreciated.
