hi
thanks again for your replies Ten Below
I may be helping some friends use thier cards at their caravans
If zeros needed to be added If one way does not work I will try the other
so again a big thank you for your help (all helps with the learning)
hi
firstly thanks Ten Below for reply
yes I have asked about the zeros on previous site but didn't get an answer
I put the zeros infront of digits my question of where the zeros go is to
help a newbie like me I use windows calculater as my internal share is not connected to
the internet or pc whilst I share between my dm500s
also from your post This will calculate your boxkey and corret card reader speed. (is this for external card reader)
thanks bob
Hi
I have used the numbers from your post on the convertor in your link
Windows calculator and another boxkey generator
And all give the same answer 23FFDE0
Now in your post the extra zero has been put at the back to make 8 digits
I thought the any extra zeros go to the front to make the 8 digits for the boxkey
Making the boxkey in the example 023FFDE0 rather than 23FFDE00
So my question is does it matter where the extra zeros go to make the 8 digits
Thanks bob
