Also it is not possible not set hostname for receiver, so some AP's does not work with DHCP correctly using unknown hostname. After IP lease time expiration it cannot get confirmation for new period.

Static IP settings does not work with Wi-Fi. It is working only for Ethernet Connection. DHCP is only way for Wi-Fi. If i clearly understood your trouble.

I made one test. I connected the reciever to AP and on fly changed the channel number - receiver network connection has lost. I tried to set hardly channel on AP's instead of AUTO. Waiting for result.

Hello. I'am using latest available firmware and I have two major troubles.
First - I cannot set a static IP on my OpenBox X3. DHCP is forced even if I disable it.
Second - USB dongle lost connection to AP regularly after several hours uptime
I found on another Satellite Forum, that this problem is also present on ***box F3 and there is still no permanent solution to this trouble.

Also it has a probles with with wi-fi connection stability. It lost connection to AP every several hours. And I'am not alone

New Firmware has very small fonts in channel switching box in comparison to my previouly firmware dated by 2012-08-08. It has unacceptable small level even for people with good eyes.

I found how to unlock CCcam. Sorry. Seems to be that this firmware has a bug with importing previously backup of smartcard.conf. I don't know why, but it won't read it, saying that there is no new data to import. So I manually entered CA data from that file and exported it again to USB. I decided to compare my previously backup and exported file - they are exacly same! CCcam and TP_PROG.DBS were imported successfully.

Yes, You are right! I'am sitting too long on SD and it is almost time to upgrade, but receiver has SCART, so developers still pay some attention to ancient TV users :) -

Maybe it is possible to contact to developer and tell him about this issue and he will make changes for future firmware updates. What do you think? -
