sly have now sent through a new white card to replace the old blue one ive not put it in the box do u think this will be affected with the new changes
-
i think the 5402 hd models are client based boxes only which means u have to ask someone very nicely to share with u .u would not be able to share your own card out if that is what u want to do.also press the ip button enter your password this is were u enter your server details of the person that is willing to share with u .
-
will i have to update to the new white card 0963 cos i have the old blue one 0961 i think. someone has said i will have to update to the new card
-
bummer i have a spare white card but its an irish one i think will that do the trick ? also will i clear if the i pair it to the new white card with yhe new counter measures s** have introduced yhe box has not been connected to anything for over 18 months ?
-
hi my old man has phoned up b* and added b* sport today it is the old blue type of card he has b* broadband so gets it free .so he gave the card to me to put in my spare dm in the back room i have installed oscam to cccam s*y uk ipk through ts panel and changed the caid to 0961 (think this correct but no sure ) there is no entitlement showing .can i still use this type of card? i have no box key ? any ideas or suggestions ?
-
if u have looped to a second box when the first box is in stand by then u would get a signal but if u turned the first box on then the second box would go off
-
u will need a separate feed form both lnb and wired or wifi
-
i have just added b* sport to my dads s** sub he only has freeview but has bt broadband so its free so im gonna stick it in my vu .he has the drx890 but the old blue card .is this 0963 or is it different and would i be able to clear it ? i have not put it back in the original box since ringing b* plus the box is not connected to a phone line or broadband for about 18 months
-
i had a quick look about it only seems to be happening with clone boxes which u can recover the box with a bootloader
-
i had this on my vu duo last week there was just a red light on and nothing else .turns out it was a faulty capasitor look here
http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…elp-vu-duo-red-light.htmli know its a different box but it was easy to fix hope u get it sorted
-
ok just an upadate guys ive managed to fix my duo pretty easy really here are a few pics if anyone else has this problem .i managed to get the capasitors from rs components because maplins did not have any in stock had to buy a pack of 5 which worked out at 14p each
these are the tools i used .removed the lid of the duo and removed the hdd so it was easier to get at the capasitor

i used the snips to cut the legs off the capaistor as close to the body as i couldthen cut down the legs on the new capasitor and soldered to the legs on the board not the best soldering but it worked
