hi there im trying to set up my hard drive on thr duo iv tryed initializing the drive but get the following message
initializing storage device
error : maybe the wrong device is used?or the whole disc instead of a partition (eg ./dev/sda,not/dev/sda1)? or the other way round?
mount: mounting/dev/sda1 on /media /hhd failed no such file or directorty
so any idea what i sould to to make it work please
hi there could anyone tell me if its possible to change the font size of all menus on my dads vu solo2 box? hes 65 and struggles to see the writing even with his glasses on lol , no spec savers jokes lol also can i set the box up to show what connection its using when a channel is sellected ie from me or another peer in the info bar the box is runnning vix version 3.0 and build 627 , the font size is the real important one

hi m8 got mine set allready as you said and i just cheaked through again but still only some channels have info? bbc1 hd shows full list of programes for the next few days but itv hd shows just now and next am i accessing the info correctly i bring up the page where by it says all , satellites , provider , favourites then at the bottom of the page i chouse eather single or multi epg?
hi guy just wondering why my epg is thin on the ground it will update ok if i download via the cross epg in pluging but lots of channels dont have any info sould i update my channel list? would that help? my reciver is a dm 800 with black hole image installed?
ok iv managed to get epg going is there a way of mapping my bouquets against the radiotimes channels without doing them manualy one at a time?

just wondering if theres a way of getting a good working epg on my dm 7020si its running pli jade , the box is up in our bedroom it works a treat but would be cool if i could get a working epg a while back there was an image put up here on the forum by ten that had a 7 day epg on a dm 500s the epg was updated from radiotimes is it possible to get this epg on the 7020, please?

hi all, my dad has asked me to recommend a new hd sat receiver to him he has been using my old dm 500s but after the old sony tv packing up this week he has just ordered his new 42inch panasonic smart tv and wants to upgrade the sat receiver as well. Iv been looking at the vu range on the forum sponsors page . so heres what he would like the new box to do
1 record one watch one at the same time
2 user friendly for the above facility
3 good epg
4 good hd image Quality
5 best image vix or black hole ?
6 can we use a 4 way disecq switch on one tuner with a straight connection to the standard sly dish on tuner 2 ?
your views would be much appreciated
in the future if anyone buys from a seller on here maybe the admin could make it so a seller can have a trusted tick or somthing? in this case it would not have helped but there are some genuine ones also maybe sellers only could post with a minimum of 50 posts?
