Pli is a very simple image ideal for newbies.Newnigma2 3.2.2 as great picture on hdtv very stable,tried nearly all others but this is the one comes highly Recommended it is superb.

Hi i connect dreambox to external drive,i have initialised and recording fine i can see list of recordings made on dreambox.However when i connect external to pc laptop windows 7 no drive appears.I think this is because pc does not recognise EXT formated drives, so does this mean i cannot view recordings ever on laptop.

A lot of new images are memory hungry eye candy.Most just have a fancy boot screen and are overloaded with appz users could download and use if they wanted,but are pre installed into limited memory space causing green screen.Simple gemini 5.1 the best is all you need.It still remains most popular image in forum polls.

Did you remove any other flash/pen usb.I take out my cruzer usb, connect my external usb to rear complete reboot is important after external is connected then it works everytime.
