Why flash the original image?
Flash the image you intend using & set it up properly, there is no benefit in flashing the original first imo.what about bootloader ?

You flash the original Vu image the same way you flash any others... but as suggested by Meerkat also flash the latest bootloader first before the image.

You seem to be having lots of issues with bh images carmine which is strange..my advice would be to flash an original vu+ image(and fresh latest bootloader install) to that box incase something has went wrong during an earlier update or from another developers software..that way you know for certain that you really are starting from fresh.
As mckee has stated use swap file as that should eradicate almost all green screen issues..also look into running your whole flash via usb..i do this via avalon which in turn keeps my flash completely empty.

Reflash the box with BH 2.0.7 that way you know you have the latest drivers etc...
Before you do that though why not send the crash logs to a member of the BH team, maybe they can make some sense of what is going on.
Once you have reflashed the new image then do one thing at a time, mount your devices first, then install a channel list, then put your plugins/addons on ( if you use a lot of these then setup a swapfile also)

I awoke this morning to find my stb playing up, last night i had devices listed on device manager and could record direct with red button, i could preview skins from with-in bh 2.0.6 menu for Black Hole Image skins, I could check Black Hole Speed Up, I could use 1 channel addon.
I press red button to record and i get this message (No HDD found or HDD not Initialsed )
And when i get to initialise hdd it wont let me.
So anyway i have tried this morning and all these things cause vu to go to green screen and crashlog wtf ??? -
Currys are doing cheap LED tv 50 inch 479 ish. Or. LED 50. Smart. 579. Ish.
Yeah had a look all good but processor rate only 100htz wanted processing rate of no less than 600htz

I have bh 2.0.6 and have downloaded 1channel directly from bh image and it works fine i have downloaded xbmc but not tried to use it yet wondered how you guys get on want to get mine up and running too.

I wanted bh 2.0.6 cause old bh 2.0.1 was out of date but was working a1 silly me lol
NOt going to re flash as everything works with picons now not disappearing unlike the device manager which keeps disapprearing,
Can someone close thread unless you think others might find it helpful if they are getting probs with bh 2.0.6 ?? -

Did you receiver reboot when download,? you can check which channel list you have,press channel button [top button on 4 way ok switch]scroll to top or bottom list.should show there,hope this helps,always do personal backup when you are happy with your settings and store to hard drive if you have one or clean usb stick.if you do download from add ons fresh bouquet is overides the last one.
no receiver did not reboot after install :(

I have vu+duo and am using bh 2.0.6 in bh addons there is catseye channel list 28.2 east 27 september i think and have downloaded says downloaded sucessfully but cant find it where would i find it, I also accidentally downloaded catseye e2 motor where would this be and how do i delete it ??

Yes mate, download on your receiver, then FTP to your PC via Dreambox edit

Dreambox edit buddy. By far the easiest way (in my opinion)
If you use multiple sats download the latest catseye for whatever sats you use.
Then transfere to your PC via Dreambox edit. You can then rename add/remove rearrange bouquets and channels how ever you want.
I am always playing with my channel lists lol.
