i`ve read that the vu duo is stable but think also that my old ubuntu se**er has been very stable

I Have taken the plunge and decided to get myself a decent box once and for all and no longer use my trusty Spiderbox LOL !!!

I have Ubuntu Server and will still use for a little while but not sure wether to keep se**er and start using vu also for this but until then am just gonna connect it to vu duo.

I need to sort out motorised setting and cccam any advice on what to do first and whats best , apologies for standard questions just dont want to do anything wrong lol ??

Hi Guys,

I have a Spiderbox 9000 HD and am unable to tune in certain transponders, use to be able to but for some reason or another the transponder shows as full strength quality and signal but finds no channels am having problem with 28.2 for certain transponder but has happended to me before have deleted it and re-tune but same thing no channels being found, has anyone else with spiderbox had this problem ??

apologies in advance if i have posted in wrong section but I have 2 relatives with freeview boxes they bought the same freeview box it is DIGILOGIC Model Number GSDSTB2001 now one relative has aerial pointing at Crystal Palace and other has aerial pointing at more local transmitter apologies for spelling mistakes. I went to do first install and this particular freeview box on both tv`s in different houses and areas will only tune in BBC1 , BBC2, BBC3 BBC4 BBc News , Cbeebies CBBC and radio channels nothing else can anyone please advise on what to do if there is a solution ???

I have just downloaded XBMC what next i dont know where to start to be honest any advice would be most gratefull i know others have downloaded it too maybe we can all chip in with helpful advice and what steps to do next ??

Sorry to be vague

in basic terms your looking for optical audio out on ya TV to go to optical input in on the Surround amp(if they have those in/outs)
OR
Audio out of the Tv to AUX in of the surround amp

Both of the above will result in whatever picture is being shown on the tv audio should be coming from the amp provided its set to Aux/optical in ect as per connection you use !

i may ask a good mate of mine who does aerial fittings, I have my motorised sat and aerial ofcorse, is everyone else on here with other tvs in house use there sat as a feed or the main aerial and if so have you all changed to digital aerials ?
