Went to my aunties yesterday and did what you said and Technomate, HD Freeview Box front room telly and new lcd 24" Freeview telly in conservatory working spot on :)))))))))

Hi Rik,

Your a top man, I spoke to auntie and she wants to go for a cheap small lcd instead of cheap box as tv in conservatory is over 20 years old lol, so will follow your instructions for wiring up new telly in conservatory oh sorry your instructions are for another box are`nt they.

Thanks, just one last thing if i get her box for telly in conservatory will aerial be ok as all it does is run from front room to rear not from aerial on roof its just an aerial lead front front to rear.

Hi Guys,

I have just been to my aunties house and as her analogue signal has gone went o buy her a cheap freeview HD box.

So let me explain she has HD tv , European (technomate) stb and Freeview box, I have 3 cables coming in behind main tv one is aerial, other is satllite lead for technomate box and other is just normal aerial lead from older telly in conservatory, Now i have wire up and can only see the Technomate ie hotbird in conservatory, nothing from freeview box ??

Any advice ??

My auntie bought a Samsung Plasma TV model number - PS43D450A2W and since last week i have been lloking for code to work her S*y remote through it . You know they give you codes and you can also look through page 999 Help and Hints on setting s*y remote to new telly where it gives you manufacterer and model number well this particular telly does not come up in list so i called S*y and they gave me about 20 different codes and still nothing, so i called Samsung and they gave me about another 10 and still nothing anyone else had problem like this ?

Also as new tv only has 1 scart I have linked *** box to telly with scart and also have technomate free to air european box linked with rf leads as s*y box and european box are both sd not HD, and experiencing another problem where telly will not go from *** box to european any ideas ?

yeah deffo so i guess once its plugged into vhs player and into lapp or tower you play whole of video tape and save at same time on lappy ?

I just thought that i would ask I have some old Family Video Tapes and i wondered is it possible to get old video format onto dvd discs, or os it better to sent to profesionals to do it and if so how much would it cost ??

with this rytec epg do you have to continually update say monthly and is it only for one sat position say 28.2 east ?

is it as easy as it looks buddy ?
