I had solo2 for 18 months, but it the first time that I have been unable to install a new image, it is BH 2.1.5 . AT the moment my Solo2 has BH 2.1.4 installed which I am not too keen after I have saved BH 2.1.5 in a usb stick and switch off my solo2 and install the usb stick and switch on the solo2, it dose not ask to switch on the start button and stay on BH 2.1.4. please help, what could be wrong?

Spot on with all yours and forums help got it working with dcc now I will try and find out what caused all that problem in the first place.

You will only find the CCcam.cfg in the etc folder if it's been added by default with a cam ipk or if you place one there by ftp.

Can't login as anonymous. You have to login with 'root' as the username.
No need to specify port 21.
Password can be blank using F'zilla but not using DCC or VUCC. There you also need to use root and a password (default is usually still 'dreambox' even on VU boxes).
Also need a password if using other FTP clients like CuteFTP.

Where can I find CCcam.cfg file
There is no password on image. Some programs will not interact with receiver if you do not fill in password. DCC E2 will work with password = root even when there isn't one.
Have you followed advice on how to set password?
Filezilla works without a password.
This is the result I got when I used Filezillia, With just filling in Host ie my Vusolo2 IP address and port=21

Have I done wrong or missed some information.
There is no password on the default image, leave it blank..
Open DreamBox Control Center > On the left panel click Telnet > Type passwd in the black window and press enter > Add your own password, press enter and repeat the step again > Now Click FTP on the left panel > Enter the login details and try to reconnect..
When I open Dcc before I can add any thing this is all i get

What am I missing or doing some thing wrong.
In first post you say you have installed new images..
¿ which image have you got on now and is it a fresh image or a backup ??
if all else fails ,, mnake a backup of your settings/personal configs on to usb stick and reflash the solo2 with a clean image ....
I have installed the Black Hole Vu+ Solo2 v.2.0.8. I installed this 2 times just incase I did some thing wrong, I did not make a backup as I could not fill in bits and pieces from the VuCC.
This is a pretty good guide ,although for e1 stbs at the time ,its the same idea for e2.

no idea.. but why not try DCC as it works the same way....
are there any instructions some where as I am used to Vucc. I have no idea how to go about it .
When I tried to load some files using VUCC on my Vu+solo2 box I get an error message as below
"Error Vucc.ini file missing in C:\user\user\App Data\Local\Temp\jzip\jzip2E256\lzip303BC\"
and Filezilla does not open as usual. I have downloaded new images on the box and latest Vucc without any success
I have used this software before without any issues I don't understand what has happen now.
Any help will be much appreciated.
