Hello my friend, sorry for replying so late.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have tried what you are suggesting with HB v32 and the profiles you gave me. but the problem still remains, unfortunately.

The only working workaround at the moment is to add

    USER: xxxxx yyyyyy

at the bottom of each and every profile for the newcamd global lines to work. I kno I can use mgcamd instead, but I would really like to resolve this problem, it never used to be like this in the past.

    Thanks!

    Hi everyone!

I am experiencing a very strange problem with my MultiCS installation, I have tried already with r84 and with r82.

Everything is working perfectly, apart from Newcamd global lines.

I have profiles going from port 7000 to port 7095.

I have created a user in my newcamd configuratiion like this:

    USER: XXXX YYYY

and then I issue a line to my peer like this

N: server port XXXX YYYY 01-14

the peer connects to the LAST PROFILE ONLY (regardless of how many profiles I have) and gets "Login error" for all previous ports before that (in my case 7000-7094) instead.

This has been tested from THREE servers connecting to me, so I know it's not a problem at their end, it's my server.

This is the configuration I am using as for newcamd:

    NEWCAMD KEEPALIVE: YES

    NEWCAMD DCW CHECK: YES

    NEWCAMD KEY: 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

NEWCAMD PROFILES: 7000,.... all the way to 7095

This is the configuration of a standard profile:

I am running Ubuntu 18, but it was the same with Ubuntu 20 and Ubuntu 22, tested this already.

Please, can you help me to fix it?

    Thanks!

Hello everyone, I also would like to know if there is any update of this script. It seems to produce empty files now, with just the provider title.

Please, is there any way to generate by this or any other working script the needed files by command line?

    Thanks

    Hi everyone!

Please, if any of you can help me I would appreciate it loads, I have been banging my head against the wall for a week now.

I have an Octagon SF8008 4K, Gold Limited edition.

Using the latest s3 build for simplebuild, I am trying to compile OScam, and I have used different toolchains, like "Dreambox_arm" and "VU+ Arm".

Each time I compile a binary I get "segmentation fault" error when launching it, as if the CPU architecture/toolchain was wrong.

There is not a single image for SF8008 that accepts that binary (Openatv, Openvix, OpenPLI already tested).

Yet, the same file works fine if tested by a friend of mine who also has my same receiver (although not Gold edition).

What can I try to troubleshoot what my issue is, please?

    Thanks!

    Hi everyone,

my apologies if I bump up this post.

I am trying to understand if there is a way to limit the amount of cacheex sent to a cs378x user in MultiCS (using r82 hellboy v32).

Is the shares= option mentioned above what I need to use, like if I wanted just CAID 183D I would add shares=183D:000000,005411 for example?

Thanks to whoever will help me to clarify this.

    Hi.

If you check the LiveLOG record via Oscam-Webif, you will surely find out why it doesn't work. Check the clients as well as the server. Surely there will be a listing why it doesn't work.

BTW, your network connections are OK ? If you also use an external connection behind the router, are the ports allowed and routed on your router ?

    Thanks for your answer.

Without me touching anything it's now been a good couple of hours that my VPS OScam has started working, although still in a strange fashion.

My user dedicated to my decoder shows that it consumes more than 1000 ecm in the last 60 seconds. This is impossible as my local box is not shared with any other users that could generate a high number of requests.

With an average of one ECM requested every 10 seconds, it can't be any higher than about 6-10 ECMS per minute, maximum.

From 10 to over 1000 there is obvioulsy something terribly wrong!

It seems like the Oscam VPS stats are totally wrong, and not by little. That's very odd!

The box has a direct connection to the Internet, I also tried making it a DMXZ host to see if I had any firewall issues but it didn't make any difference.

Hello dear friends! I need help, please.

I am experiencing a very weird problem with my OScam VPs server, running build 11537 on Ubuntu 18 x86_64.

The problem seems to affect all lines (cs378x, cs378x cacheex and also cccam raeders and users).

For instance, the CCcam readers show no sign of activity (despite the fact that they are connected and have entitlement cards) and in the readers page they always report as 0 ECM

    links to images here:

    https://ibb.co/XDD1CBz

    https://ibb.co/jGrrNyB

Still, if I test from my local box a direct c line to my Oscam server, excluding all other readers I get no picture and "not found" in the log.

I think this is odd as, assuming my VPS Oscam has the entitlements to decode a specific CAID and the user is requested that specific channel belonging to the same CAI it should just work...

In the same way, my cacheex cs378x mode 2 peers seem to be exchanging fine (I can see the numbers in cacheex section growing for both push and got) but there is no hit whatsoever :(

This is the configuration I have on my OScam VPS server:

Many thanks for anyone who sheds some light on why my Oscam VPS server does not exchange at all.

Here's an update... very strange I'd say. I solved it!

I flashed with Japhar Flasher the same OpenAtV for DM800SE enabling bad sectory recovery, hence with no second stage at all... it's downloaded from the Openatv website.

The only conclusion I draw is that I must have an a8p simcard! :P

Now all I'm left with is to find the drivers for the trial tuner :P

Thanks for your attention anyway... that's really odd though. :-)

    Dear friends at LSC,

I am setting up a receive for a friend, it was ordered from Ali Express.

It came with an OpenPLI image that clearly stated "dm800se" in its information screen.

I wanted to flash an OpenAtv instead, so I flashed it and then uploaded a second stage bootloadr for sim 2.10. You guessed, I ended up with the infamous "NO CA FOUND" error.

The box says definitely SIM 2.10, so I presume it is indeed a sIM 2.10.

    I have tried the following:

    * Dreamup for Sunray 2.10 = it gets stuck on "waiting for acknowledgment"

    * NFC SIM 2.5 = even if it claims to have fixed the problem, it gets stuck on "Phase 2" after uploading the bootloader (whatever option for SIM 2.10 I choose...)

The only software that is able to flash my box is Japhar Flasher version 1.1, but still I am unable to resolve it.

Perhaps I have the wrong bootloader for SIM 2.10 or maybe the box says it's SIM 2.10 but it's not?

I really wouldn't want to be forced to open the box to find out what SIm it has.... :-(

I'm not shooting blind and I really wouldn't know what else to try.

    I'd appreciate some help, thanks!

Hello dear friends of the forum.

I have been trying long and large to find the drivers for the SINGLE TUNER of this receiver.

Googling around I can always see the drivers for the triple tuner, but I assume they are useless to me.

Please, can someone help me to find these drivers?

I would like to basically use images meant to be for the original DM800se receiver and customize them to my needs (with second stage and specific drivers). I have the wifi drivers but not the single tuner's.

Thanks for any help you can give me.
