It has been a while since I used the box if you take a look in the amiko section and under image backups you will find all the software the box is able to run.

Paypal is my preferred method of payment. I will take the fees hit. I will send you the pic of the back of the box when I get home. These don't have an HD installed you need to use an external. You might be better to have a look around before making your mind up they are slightly different to the normal enigma 2 box.

This had been used for around 2 months when they first came out. So will be around 18 months old.

Hi I will take a look but I dont think that works for the VTI image. At the present I have changed the teletext button to bring up cool tv guide. I am sure I have come accross this problem before with VTI.

Hi all I am trying to change a few buttons on the remote for my duo2 using the vti 6 image. I am only wanting to change a few. With previous images using multiquick button worked fine. I am wanting to get the epg button simple press to bring up cool tv guide. However it is simply refusing to change from it current function.
Is there a way to manually change button function in the config files?

Hi if you go into the vti tool menu you will find an option to change or set the password change it in there to what ever you want. I had the same issue when I tried the vti image.

you'll need to be a bit more specific as to what you have , are you talking shares like nas server or share sub to another box in the house ?If its share sub what boxes card and how far are you set up ?
Hi mate it is just the network share dotted around the house that I will need to set up. It only takes a few minutes. The problem was getting the virtual keyboard working but thanks for offering the help. I have my htpc and my ultimo that all share their videos around the network.

Thanks to everyone for the input. Now I feel dumb! :beat_brick: I have not had a huge amount of time to play around so far. Have a 2TB HD in a 14gig usb and the basic stuff set up.
So this will allow me to get my network shares up and running and might even move the box downstairs!

Hi all I seem to going mad! I am trying to put in a few configs in my network settings. However for the life of me I cant get to input any letters. I can bring up the virtual keypad by pressing the text button but it does not allow me to input any letter. Same also goes for my airplayer premium key.
I am obviously being very silly!
I am using mckees back up vix image.

Yeah I have tried the changing to 25Hz sadly my old samsung does not like it and makes the picture jump up and down. It works on 24 and 30 but the stuttering comes back. Auto resolution did not make a huge difference as I was unable to run 25Hz.

edit. Tried the newest Spark image. Picture better EPG is a joke no use what so ever. It basically does not work there is no epg. I am willing to say I have not switched something on. I have downloaded the crossepg files but when I press the epg button all i get is the tv list with 4 channels displaying info and the rest saying no info.

Cheers guys I will look at it. Switching to spark from my current image is a nightmare of stopping and starting but can try a new spark image. If it has a half way usable epg which I have yet to see in spark. I will just give it to my mate with spark running.

Cheers guys will take a look. Scooters is based on the hdmu. The image is the best so far but that is not saying much.... Will take a look at the PK Hyperion and OpenAR-P Images.

Hi all I am sorry to say that I have this pile of poo of a box. I had condemned it the going in the dump pile. However I have decided to dig it out and give it to a mate who is rather low on funds and probably more tolerant than me. I will be honest I have tried a few images one being from the 'official uk supplier' that was crap and recently got banned from that forum for daring to mention the box and support was utter crap and asking advice about a decent replacement... :haha:
Anyhoo I have one form one here scooters one from march April. The one and only thing that is driving me mad is the stuttering that starts after 3 - 10 mins and can only be sorted by flicking off and on the channel quickly. This REALLY SUCKS!
Is this just the fact the box sucks or is an image or setting that can be done to solve this. Everything else is a PIA but this one make the box useless and I would not give it to a mate if he cant even watch tv properly.
I am planning on getting a vu+ duo2 quad tuner and putting my ultimo in our bedroom but need to get this POS half working first.
