    Hi Guys

    Just got myself a motorised dish.

    However I am a little confused with regards to longitude & latitude.

    Satpointer gives me these details

    Location on map
    Latitude: 52.044°
    Longitude: 1.1235°

    My Postcode is IP2 9NW if that helps

    But How do I know whether I am east or west / north or south ?

    Any help appreciated

    Regards
    Chris

    I have noticed that if running the firmwares with YouTube / You porn there seems to be a problem with glitching / freezing / pixels, I have gone back to the firmware before youtube was added, dated 20-09-2012 hope this helps

    Hi Guys,

    I have a debian linux server running oscam. with 11 clients (family only)

    I also have a friend running the same thing with 10 clients (family only)

    We are both sharing SLYUK

    What I want to know is there a way in which we can merge these together so if 1 goes down for any reason the other 1 picks it up?

    We both run on same port and user list's are different so can be combined.

    Thanks in Advance

    Chris

    My Oscam Version is OSCAM 1.10rc-svn build #5775 <<<<my preferred version

    If they reboot box or cam in most cases it works but if they go back to free to air for a while the same happens again

    This problem has only occurred recently

    Forgot to post my Files

    Hi Guys

    I have a couple of clients saying that if they have been watching freeview channels for a while that it can then take upto 5 mins to clear subbed channels.

    Clients are using different boxes Spiderbox, TM500 Super & F3's.

    Can anyone advise anything that may cure this please.

    Or could it just be a case of rebuilding Oscam ?

    Kind Regards
    Chris

    the port=xxxxx@0963:000000 is the port you have open on the router for users to connect to the card that has nothing to do with the actual updating the card.

    both my cards have the same caid so I am not sure how you will set this for users to access the cards using only 1 port
    this would be something you may have to play with ie

    port=xxxxx@0963:000000
    port=xxxxx@0500:000000
    etc etc

    or maybe it will be

    port=xxxxx@0963,0500:000000

    hope this helps you mate

    The caid from each of your cards, so it will be 0963 for slyuk make sure to insert a comma between each caid this should then get them updating however i believe you will need local client box with n line connected to your motorized dish and pointing at the different satellites as the updates are due, also channel selected must be of a paid for channel from that card. IE slyuk updating SlY1

    I hope this helps

    As an example mine is set like this under oscam.user

    [account]
    user = update
    pwd = update
    description = for local mgcamd or DVBAPI
    group = 1,2
    uniq = 1
    au = card1,card2
    caid = ****

    Running n line on local client box under cccam

    N: 192.168.0.199 19000 update update 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256 edit local ip and port to suit

    Hope this helps you

    Hi Guys

    I have now got 2 of the same cards in my server,

    I currently have 1 auto updating but not sure how to set oscam to update the second card as-well.

    I currently use the following to update my 1st card how can I edit it to update 2nd card as-well .

    [account]
    user = update
    pwd = update
    description = for local mgcamd or DVBAPI
    group = 1
    uniq = 1
    au = card 1
    caid = 0963

    I now have these files and mods up and running :)

    Under AU in webinfo I occasionally get ACTIVE instead of on, I take it from this that it means all is good to go ?

    Cheers

    Chris

    Thanks m8 I will change it an reboot in the morning

    Cheers again for your help

    How oftern do the dates change?

    Is there anyway of knowing card will update before it happens?
