hiya , my ultimo wont boot , its stuck in a loop , black hole image , ive tried reflashing usb mode and nothing , tried different images and usb sticks , does anyone have a nfi or know where i can download one , gonna try with serial port ,,,,,,, thanks

had 2 of these boxes , they are very good for less than 100 pound ,,, i use dm 8000 , dm 800 , vu ultimo won off this very site , and some f7,s , for the money
they are good , picture quality is good coupled with all the linux extras it is good value pluss no fan

been messing about with my dm 8000hd when i was drunk , now when i try to ftp it says telnet connected ftp disconnected

i,m new to pc servers and just trying to get my first one up and running ,, i,ve installed debian 6 on pc and installed the script following the tut from ten below and it all seems to be working i can log into the server and ftp etc,,,, can somebody point me in the right direction of where to now , do i need a smargo and card now ,was thinking of getting a cheap jxc card to learn with,,,,,,,,,, thanks

easiest way to test is to zap to rai4 or orf austriast channels!

if these are not clearing so you can be sure that MG is not working!

yes done the easiest way and guess what ,doesn,t work ,,,,,

thats what i,m going to do probebly , but am hanging on trying to get mgcamd to work , because i know i,ll change the image get mgcamd to work and then have problems with channel lists and getting the epg to work properly,, as it is now everything works great ,epg ,media player,channel list up to date ,cccam is flawless,,, been messing with llinux receivers for ages and i know when i flash it some things that are great on this image will be not so good on another image ,,,, unless anyone can point me in the right direction for an image for the ultimo that has channel list for all of europe ,cccam works and so does mgcamd, the epg is good, and media player plays everything i throw at it ....... thanks markez
