    Hi, thanks for reply,
    yes usb sticks are formatted correctly, have reformatted again to be sure, havent moved the box, so battery shouldnt have come loose ,
    tried reflashing again but with same result.
    Is there any way of finding out what was telneted to the box?

    Yes tried reloading bootloader,but would not recognise it, it did already have the lastest bootloader before going wrong, I was using the latest VIX image.
    I have also tried different usb sticks

    I accidently dropped my laptop while connected to the ET9000, and in trying to catch it sent something via DCC telnet, TV picture disappeared
    immediately, dont know what went was sent via telnet.
    The receiver now displays ET9X00 on display and will not respond to remote control or manual buttons, I have tried unplugging and re-flashing with various images, the receiver starts flash and then goes to booting but no further.

    Any ideas on getting it running again would be appreciated.

    Thanks to all, have sorted it now, all working.
    It would seem the cfg had become corrupted some how, and each time
    I put a line in it added to the front of the line, could only see this when rechecking it,
    dont know how it happened but now all ok.

    am using clarketech image for moment, with same results as above only fta channels.
    the new vix image wont now load, gets as far as booting but goes no further.
    have put "ALLOW TELNETINFO=YES" into cfg but still same result.
    when changing to a uk gold etc it comes up at bottom of screen with 'No info from emu or fta'


    will try flashing vix again tomorrow.

    entering the N line into the cccam.cfg in etc., tried this line in adifferent box and it worked.
    its a paid for line which was working ok, suddenly froze thursday evening, have tried another line from different person which works in another box ok.
    I t would seem something happened while watching tv that has caused the problem, all had been working well for months.

    Lost all channels (FTA ok), thursday night, everything just froze, tried restarting box,modem,cccam etc., but still no picture.
    Next day tried all above again, tried reinstalling ccam and N Line, still nothing,
    So reinstalled Vix image, but image not now loading. So updated to new VIX image and new bootloader, loaded ok
    installed ccam etc but no picture other than free to air, these then started to stick, so reloaded VIX but this time not loading.
    Have since tried other images, all loaded but can not get anything other than FTA.
    Any ideas would be welcome. All working well before thursday evening.
    Currently using
    Xtrend ET9000
    image - dreamboxuk
    ip - virgin
    Have tried other images HD Freaks, Openpli but have same result only FTA channels.
    I have another box(dreambox800) which is working ok
