    Hello all,

I've got the following error below. Unsure what it means. Can someone shed some light on this for me please? Username and password is correct. Was working fine yesterday.

(cccam) init error from reader xxxxx

    Thanks.

It was CCcam 2.3.0 that had an issue with recording and viewing another channel, not oscam.

My guess is you are using a server that doesn`t allow the reshare that is necessary for recording / viewing on another tuner..

I've using 2 servers so that should work really right?

whats your line cline or nline and why not use mgcamd or cccam

In OScam it says im using newcamd (CCcam)

When I start recording I am unable to watch another channel apart from free to air ones. I've got both tuners in and both are showing correctly on the box.

I did some googling as you do, and I came across somewhere that said it is a known problem and need to update to OScam version 2.3.0 or later so I updated from OSCam: 1.20-unstable_svn Build:r11036 to OSCam: 1.20-unstable_svn Build: r11356 Compiler: mipsel-unknown-linux-gnu-libusb.

Tested again and it is still the same. Still can only watch record one channel and watch that, or any free to air ones only.

    Box: Vu+Duo2
    Image: BH 2.1.7.01

    Any advice?

    Thanks.

    Hey guys,

I''ve just purchaed a 1TB HDD for my Vu+ Duo 2, and physically installed into the box.

When I press Blue button twice to go to Black Hole Settings, then Device Manager, nothing shows up there.

If I go to Menu, Setup, System, Hard drive, Initialisation, the HDD shows up there but when try to initialise is, it comes with a green screen saying its encountered a software problem and reboots.

I then following the following guide http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=10390

Still no joy. I go through it all, changing usb to hdd, it says its done, then I reboot, yet I still can't see it when I go into Black Hole Settings (blue button twice), Device Manager.

    Any ideas?

    Hello guys,

I managed to record on my USB, (was told to FTP a folder called movie to the USB folder), anyway ... i want to know how do i record on my HDD?
When i press the red button, it just says No HDD found or HDD not initialized, but device manager does see it.

    Thanks,

    Sam
