So if my brother shares with me theres no way of us getting into trouble? as they have no means of finding out? Ive heard from a s ky engineer something about knowing through the phone line?
Also am i right in saying this is not possible using the existing receiver and a dreambox or similar is essential?
My brother has subscription for all sports and movie channels provided by s ky.
I wanted to do cardsharing with him. My understanding is that we would need to take his viewing card out the original receiver which was given to him and load it up in a Linux receiver like the dreambox...
My question is would s ky not know if the card is not in the receiver but the channels still being viewed? If they do whats a way around this?

Im new to the world of satellites and been trying to learn more about them in order to get set up and get the sports channels to watch the English Premier League.
Am I correct in saying that in order to get up and running with these channels all i would need is a receiver, dish, internet line and a Cline/Nline?
And am I correct in saying the Cline is to connect to a server which will give me the channels I want?

Im new to this so bare with me, i will probably ask some stupid questions.
At the moment I stream most the games on the internet but the stream isnt always good and often cuts out. One of my mates recently got the receiver 's*ybox' and it came with all the s*y channels so he can watch football and movies as well as some of the 3pm kick offs. the guy he purchased this from charges a subscription fee of £50.
Now my question is can I get these channels for free? or would I always need to pay a subscription fee? from what ive read these people who share these channels this is free but people are making money from this.
Can anyone shed some light for me?
