Sounds like the Flash is corrupt mate it happens a fair deal on these boxes but can be fixed with a Null modem Cable easy enough if you have one?

Recover Dead ***box/Openbox Flash Using Serial RS232 Null modem Cable

A how to guide on how to fix a corrupt firmware image in the OpenBox S9/S10 and ***box S)/S10 Even if it seems bricked.

This guide is taken from another forum so big thanks to auther.

Box does not respond or displays On?
If your box does not respond, or no displays light there is a good chance the current firmware on the box is somehow corrupt.

You will need to use this tool, connect a Serial RS232 Null Modem Cable to the box and follow the instructions.
Hopefully it will bring your box back to life.

instructions

Download the File Which i am sure is posted on Site But Can be found on google by Searching
1. Connect up your PC to the ***box/Openbox
using a null modem serial cable.
2. Switch the box OFF
3. Run EromUpgrade.exe then check the
com port setting is correct
4. Select the latest firmware .abs file. (Download her if you don't have any)
5. Select "next" then switch ON the box
and follow the instructions to load
and flash burn the firmware.
6. If the process does not start, try
various time combinations of switching
the box ON after selecting "next"
7. Don't switch the power off or disconnect
while the download & flash is taking place.

If you cannot contact to your box check your null modem cable. Connections are like shown below

pin 2 ...to... pin 3
pin 3 ...to... pin 2
pin 4 ...to... pin 6
pin 5 ...to... pin 5
pin 6 ...to... pin 4
pin 7 ...to... pin 8
pin 8 ...to... pin 7

Important: Go into device manager (goto start-->run-->type "devmgmt.msc" )
or right click My Computer--->manage--->on the left side u find device manager

and check that you are choosing the right com port. If possible use computer with serial R232 com port built on mainboard.

I think your asking for a Payserver there mate and its what you want to steer clear of.May seem easy way to start watching but the Service will be shoddy and they will Probs want a years Payment too even knowing it will not last that long so do be careful and not waste money with these leeches

There is also a Vip Section where you could post and Explain you have no Local But would like to get started and maybe someone can help you along with some Ideas or a test to View channels on your box and from there you could look into taking a Sub for something Different they could use on there system.

We all have to start somewhere and with just a little to share you may find it a lot more Easy.

Just due to *** Pairing there Cards to the Hd Boxes now it would seem a new way to get the needed Data to be able to share is needed for Oscam.
Maybe something easy But the more I read the more it looks like *** may of closed the door which was being used

Yes you can use the box without a Card But need someone who will allow you a Share from there working Card which needs to be set up on a box or server to Share details

This would be added to your box by means of Usb stick or Text input from the Remote which allows the box to clear the paid channels

Keep on trying to Reflash it mate with the Null modem Cable Just sometimes they need Different timing before Switching on the box for your Pc to pick it up Correct
Normally around 10 secs after telling you to Connect the box Power it up then the Flash will continue

Well said Foz as No Harm At all With a Good N-Line and not Just Payservers Use them by any means

Nline is always a good choice to be fair But the Scrambled msgs Can be many things
Poor Speed net
Poor Line provider if your on a crappy payserver of the web
Others using your net at same time etc etc

Make sure the share you have is a good one or you will always get Freezes and intermittent problems which is why Sharing between mates is always the best way forward

Yes mate it Can be set to Work Glitch Free really Just depends on how many you share with and there Connection Etc etc
Do not overspend now on S*Y Uk as its looking like it will end soon enough in Current forms

1. Put the Superhub into modem only mode.

2. Use an ethernet cable to connect the WAN port of your new cable router, to LAN port one of the Superhub. (The WAN port on your router may be labelled 'WAN' or 'Internet' or 'Cable' or something else. If you are in any doubt, consult its manual, LAN port one on the Superhub is the ethernet port closest to the coaxial cable connection.)

if there *free Lines from on the net then maybe there Just being used or no longer free

Best way is to Use a Line from your own Card or A share from someone you know

That will be the reason there offline mate Probs being used by others or no longer active

are you sure the Line is Active and correct mate check in the menu and make sure the line is set as active Just to be sure,Also make sure your box is connected fine to the internet

This box is a Starter box really mate so no need for much knowledge at all.

To get started and Use Cccam to get watching you will Need a Share line from a Pal etc Dont get started with a Robbing payserver from the ads or Sites on Google
