Have now used DCC to connect to my vu box, thanks for all the help so far, feel like I am now gettimg somewhwere,
story so far,
Using the ftp panel I was able to open the /etc/ folder, but found no cccam or Cccam.cfg files/folders, do I have to install Cccam and the Cccam.cfg ??

I would like to set it up so I can do both, my router is a Netgear DG834G wireless router with four Ethernet ports, thanks.

When you say google model, do you mean the router ?

Still cannot find it, on the backup image by Ten Below it seems to say that you have to install it after you flash the image.
I don't think I have my router setup to accept ftp transfers yet, this part is hard. Does anyone anyone know of a guide on how to set up a solo2 box with router/port forwarding etc.... .????

Do I have to setup a server first?

Hi everyone, new box solo2 flashed with Blackhole just arrived from world of satellite, installed Hard drive last night, connected up to old sk@ dish, could someone tell me what to do next or point me to the correct tutorial ?
I do not have sk@ subscription, hoping this box will get me all the channels I need.
Do I have to run an Ethernet cable to my router? Or has this box wifi in it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What way does an external tuner work, and can it be a satellite tuner?
Am I right in thinking it will need a separate feed from the dish?

Ps I selected the option for blackhole firmware when buying the box, good or bad idea??

Firstly I hope I am posting in the correct forum.
I am looking for a box that will allow me to record two channels while watching another channel.
Would like it to have internal HDD option, HD, an EPG that allows you to record program's say a week or two in advance, and any other options that are needed.
