Hi I have a 64 bit PC and have installed Linux Mint 17 64bit (great OS). Have now installed a TBS 6981 duel sat tuner and have it working fine with XBMC and TvHeadend but can not work out how to or were to put my cline. Have used win 7 64bit with DVBDream and Hadu no problem except its very cpu intensive and would like to try the difference with a Linux PC.
Is it possible to use a cline in a PC with Linux OS. Also can any of the vu solo 2 images be adapted for a PC running Linux. :thumb:

Hi not sure if this is the correct forum for this but will try.
I have a shuttle pc with a twin satellite input PCI card and running Linux OS (ubuntu-13.04-desktop-i386).
My question is can I input my Cline and if so how is this done.
Also is it possible to convert an enigma image file to run on this.

Hi I had the same problem of lost channels but not on motorized only single. The only way I found them again was to install AutoBouquets then config for my area then only alter settings to show channel numbers YES do INT scan NO Make Bouquets YES then when it runs there will be a Bouquet showing last scan these can then be scrolled through to find the channel you want some channels show multi IE ITV four are shown OK to each 1 at a time to veiw if correct then go back and press menu on remote and add channel to were you want it. Do not know if this would work on a motorized dish but maybe. Have a look at autobouquets e2 by lraizer.

At the moment I am using a DM 800se HD and am thinking of purchasing a VU duo twin tuner as I would like to record one side and watch another. My question is would I have to purchase 2 cline's for this?

I am using a DM800se running Open PLI 2.1 with ntp update manager installed which works great and keeps the time correct but only if the box is left on all the time or restarted but not when in standby; have been told that setting a cronjob would may work and I would like to know how to set a cronjob to poll an NTP server every 2 mins to keep the time correct in standby so I can set a timer record to run from standby. Is there a plugin for doing this?

Has anyone else got a problem with the time on a dm800se on mine I have had to install ntpupdate manager otherwise the clock is never the correct time but in standby the time is all over the place gains hours in minutes next time looses hours the only way to do a timer recording is to leave it on all the time.
Were does the time come from for the display program or tuner?

I have a DM 800se HD E-Star SIM with open pli 2.1 running but when I try to flash a new image via going to my dreambox web address the address is shown correct but with a # next to it and it shows the dreambox web control page not the page for flashing have checked as much as I can but being new to this I do not know how to correct the problem. If I use the DreamUP program which does find the correct IP it does seem to flash a new image but when restarted the old image is still there and running correctly !! Also I can run DCC or Dreambox Edit OK as they find the IP address good. This all started after installing GP3 Enigma2 Release 3.2.4.
I have since managed to flash the image I am using now open pli 2.1 but only via a set of programs from another forum the program is PD_DreamboxToolbox _V.9.0.0 works great but I would prefer to use the web based flasher. Any advice would be much appreciated.
